My review of Carnival Spirit cruise, travelling as a solo, balcony room, South Pacific in November, 2014.
I was not prepared for the number of children on board. I know that Carnival has a big family base but I thought that as I was travelling out of all states' holiday periods that I would see few kids on the cruise. I was wrong; cruise was about 40% kids.

Never again will I sail on Carnival if Carnival Spirit is any indication of the rest of the ships. The ship is old and tired and very much in need of refurbishment. The décor is old and jaded and the upholstery on the chairs, stool and couches is worn and dirty.
