Good cruise, very enjoyable
"The food in the main dining room was good on most nights, a couple of nights not so good, but no real complaints.Overall, a good cruise I would go on it again, just be careful of your account and don't do anything even slightly complicated...."Read More

Fun time but some caveats

Review for Carnival Celebration to Caribbean - Eastern

We went on this cruise as a group of 8 people ranging in age from 21- 54. It really was a great cruise but I do feel like there was room for improvement. This was my fifth Carnival cruise. Firstly the staff were amazing - as always they worked very hard to make sure we were all taken care of. Having said that, I definitely felt that they were a bit more “harried” than what I’m used to. I think ...

Honest Review

I chose to go on this cruise because I was in need of a vacation and my parents happen to be booked on this same ship, so I though it would be nice to spend some time with them on vacation. I hadn't been on a vacation or cruise since November 2019, so I was due and this is a brand new ship. Cabin: I booked the smallest cabin on the ship, as I was solo traveler and it was rather comfortable. ...

We are avid cruisers but usually sail with the family. Both our girls are off at college now and we booked this as a re-charge for the both of us. This happened to be the Super Bowl and Valentines Day cruise. We had a blast. The ship was full but we never felt it. There are so many areas to go and relax, sing and dance or laugh. The layout is very good. We ate at The Steakhouse, Teppanyaki, ...

Carnival is Carnival

We got an offer from the casino so this was a free cruise. This is our 40+ cruise and 7th with Carnival. They aren’t our favorite but thought it would be fun to try a new ship. The ship is beautiful but there are a number of problems. The ship can hold 6000 guests but it can not handle 6000 guests. We have never felt this crowded on any prior ship. A totally full Oasis Class ship feels ...

Winter "girls" trip! 2023 - Fun time on Celebration

Review for Carnival Celebration to Caribbean - Eastern

This trip, I guess, would be considered a "girls" trip, and I use the word girls loosely! We sailed on the Carnival Celebration out of Miami on Sunday January 8th and returned Sunday January 15th. Our Party consisted of my Mother in law- "E" and her friend and my brother's girlfriend- "S" and myself. My MIL's cabin was a handicapped balcony room on the 9th deck aft and our cabin was a balcony on ...

Initially skeptical about going on a carnival cruise after being on the conquest 3 years prior we decided to try the new ship. The videos looked great online and it appeared that the entertainment was good too. Upon entering the ship we were impressed with the decor and ambiance. There is a lot of outdoor seating , pools and restaurants. After the first few days we started noticing things that ...

Is this REALLY a Carnival ship?!

This was our fifth overall cruise, and our first post-pandemic. First, this ship is GORGEOUS! We have sailed Carnival before and I was shocked at how nice this ship is. This ship could easily have been mistaken for NCL or RCI. No orange carpet, pink walls, or tacky neon. We stayed in forward spa balcony 17-204. Our room was very nice, and our balcony was huge because of its location. We were all ...

We chose this cruise since originally my husband and I went on the Mardi Gras. This time we brought my Uncle and our 2 sons. We always book the corner excel suite that is new to the xl vessel and absolutely love it. Just to forewarn anyone- these counter suite to the front of the boat, although amazing, have a few cons. First the wind at the front of the boat can make the large wrap around balcony ...

We chose it to take ourselves and our adult kids together for 5 days. We live in Myrtle Beach but 2 of my sons live in Miami. The first problem was finding parking. Carnival's site simply refers you to the Port of Miami's website which is equally useless. We arrived about 1/2 hour early and were told by a female baggage handler that we could park in garage K. When we got to garage K the sign ...
