The trip was so disappointing.
This was our 12th cruise and the first for Norwegian. It will also be our last.
The ship was so small. The cabins were so small. They virtually had no storage. The food was subpar. There were a few items at dinner that were amazing but overall it was nothing to write home about. Even the variety of food was disappointing.

The Sky is an old ship. We knew this but NCL claimed their upgrade in 2022 was great. Not.
Pros: Crew, all great, esp. 'Yogi' the butler and 'Huberth', concierge. Layout of the cabin (not the location, aft penthouse suite- above the show theater. Production shows were spectacular, all of them. Cagney's steakhouse was superb.

Rooms were always cold. Had to get towels from pool area to sleep warm. Lights blink for 30-40 seconds needs updated. Back doors did not work on ship. On the small side of NCL ships and while everything was clean and updated the age and size of the ship had it's own challenges. Spaces were smaller than normal NCL ships with fewer food options. It has been quite a while since we had cruised on NCL. We are Platinum level members so we know what to expect, at least that is what we thought.

Food had good taste and generous portions. Even the buffet food was hot. Good variety of dishes in the buffet also.

The Sky is a very "classic" cruise experience. The staff was excellent for our 9 day cruise. This ship has had a well-done face lift and should not be thought of as old. The only thing that may have seemed small was the buffet compared to those on much larger ships like the NCL Joy.
