This was our 5th Disney Cruise, and the 4th time on the Wonder..
They did the refurbishment, about a month ago.. not sure what I was expecting.
But it did not change much.. Except the Adult area.. they revamped the whole area.. It needed the update..
This was our first time out of the new facility in Galveston.. it was better.. More spread out.. and not as cramped.. The leaving the ...
We cruised Dec. 2 on a 7 day trip to Falmouth, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.
Animator's Palate was our favorite family dining experience watching our cartoons come alive with Tiana's Place a close second to continuously good meals and entertainment. Triton's was my least memorable dining experience (no entertainment) except for lobster night which tasted great.
The Oceaneer's Club and Lab ...
We had three families traveling. My grandson and his family (3), my daughter and her family, (2) and my husband and I.
The entertainment was the best I have ever seen and we have been on at least 6 cruise line and have taken many cruises over the past 30 plus years. (more then I can remember)
Our cruise went out of Galveston, TX. We all went in the day before the cruise and stayed at ...
Overall a good experience, but some disappointments.
The buffet had VERY limited hours.
I traveled with two young grandchildren, and the dinner service lasted FOREVER. The service was very slow, and most of the kids in the dining room were anywhere from restless to out of control. The buffet was NOT an alternative, as Cabanas, at night, is also a sit-down restaurant. No buffet. Also, ...
The Wonder had already kind of been "our ship" because we had sailed on it several times before, so we were anxious to see the changes made. The pool deck upgrades were well done but didn't add anything too extravagant aside from the new slide for the kids' pool.
The makeover of Parrot Cay into Tia's place was definitely a good move. The former was definitely showing its age and ready for an ...
We took our Son and his wife 50 and 40 and our granddaughters 6 and 11. We are in our mid 70's. All ages enjoyed the cruise. The food is ok nothing to write home about but after all this cruse is for younger people.all the shows and activities where around Disney charters and so where the evening shows and movies. They do have a quiet cove on deck 9 where no children are allowed an nice quiet ...
It was a first time cruise experience for my family. And, as usual, my husband decided to choose the best way to experience this journey. We celebrated our 10th Anniversary at the Bahamas. Everyone on the ship made us feel so special and happy. Starting from a facial treat that was made by Shalom-who was the sweetest person and had a super professional approach! Our Concierge team were 2 SUPER ...
My son is 12 and other than short family visits we have never vacationed. He has PKU and requires a strict diet. At a function for PKU I was told Disney was the way to go so I booked the cruise. I informed them of my son's diet which they were familiar with. I called 5 times and was assured each time everything was taken care of. Long story short they did not have his food and every visit to the ...
we chose this cruise because we did it last year and knew it would be even better with the new remodel. Everything was updated, down to fresh flowers in every public bathroom! the services was great! the spa is amazing; didn't do it last year but the new spa was very high-end yet reasonably priced. The staterooms were great, shows improved and pool area fabulous! my only slight complaint ...
We took a 7 day Disney cruise out of Galveston on the Wonder with my family of 4, my sister's family of 4 and our parents. Overall, the cruise was a wonderful experience filled with memories that will last a lifetime. The ship had just come out of dry dock and it was completely renovated including the staterooms. We were the second group to sail on it and it was nice and clean. There were ...
