Pretty Good

Rating the overall experience with Regent is difficult because pre cruise wise I would give them zero but once on board it was very good. Pre cruise I had great difficulty getting any answers or sense out of them via the phone line whatsoever regarding anything whatsoever. infact half the time the phone operators knew less than me!. It was totally hopeless trying to get our second Prime 7 ...

Alaska on the Mariner

This was our 4th cruise with Regent. This time we opted to go with a Horizon Suite (aft) on the Mariner. It was absolutely wonderful! Having the entire back of your stateroom looking out onto the ocean was breathtaking (especially Alaska). We have had Butlers before, and frankly they are very nice, but we don't usually bother asking them for anything but ice (which we could easily call room ...

Return to Alaska

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and date together with value for money. We had been to Alaska some 18 years previously on Holland America. There is no doubt that this ship, and the suites look tired and need updating however everything worked in our suite but the shower in the bath was difficult to get in and out especially if the ship is rolling in rough seas. The steward service ...

Bad Service on Mariner Seven Seas

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

I don't like to write bad reviews about things, because there is always some good, but Mariner has some really, really bad things going on with their service. First of all, I am sorry to say, the reviews on the staterooms being nasty and dirty are true. I think I must be in the penthouse suite that a previous passenger who took pictures was in. It is the worst stateroom I have been in, dirty ...

A BROKEN PROMISE LEFT US WITH A FEW PLUSSES AND LOTS OF MINUSES.

After two trips on the Crystal's Symphony my wife and I vowed we would go on no other cruise line. We broke that promise in 2016. I had tried to book two legs of a Crystal Cruise on the Serenity from San Francisco to Vancouver and then Vancouver to Steward (Anchorage) Alaska for a total of 13 nights. However, my travel agent, David Butterfield of All Cruise Travel in San Jose, California, ...

Nice but Expensive

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

We choose this cruise because it was inclusive, cruise, food, drinks, tours and tips. The ship was also mid size only 700 passengers. The service was good but the tours where not very organized and not worth the money. We usually cruise Princess and have always had a pleasant experience. The only exception would be their cruises are far more packed with people. Once you get over the crowds the rest ...

Fast becoming Regent devotees.

Not interested in another Caribbean cruise, we jumped at the opportunity to sail out of Miami going northeast instead. All the ports except Nassau were new to us, and two were overnights, so it offered a chance to really explore these destinations. We were offered an exceptional price for a concierge-level cabin mid-ship on deck 9. We've decided that these 700-passenger ships are our ...

A Lovely Regent Experience!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

This was our third Regent cruise, first one on the Mariner. Although the cruise was fully booked, it never felt crowded. There are lots of quiet places. Service on board is what makes this cruise line stand out, it is excellent. The food is good in the main dining room, but very good in Signatures and Prime 7. We are not crazy about Setti Mari. The cabin was roomy, lots of storage and a ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

This was our first cruise on Regent, my husband and I always cruise with Seabourn. We chose this trip based on itinerary. Our penthouse cabin was horrible, disgusting old carpet, full of bumps and peeling off the baseboards. The bathroom was old with tiny tub and missing grout all over. Twice the price of Seabourn which is to cruise in real luxury. Buenos Aires and Punta del Este are ...

STUCK IN SANTOS, OUR DREAM HONEYMOON WAS A NIGHTMARE ON THE MARINER; STAY AWAY

Review for a South America Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY WITH NO INTEGRITY. This was not a cruise. This was FALSE ADVERTISING We traveled half way across the world and got stuck in a sewer in Santos, Brazil from Saturday February 28, 2016 until we finally reached Rio on Thursday morning. We sat for 5 days in the rain with a noisy power plant right next to the ship. Trains ran through the neighboring facility at all ...
