Worst ship I've been on

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sensation

The entire ship smelled like sewage, which made it hard to enjoy sitting outside at all. Our room smelled. I had a headache most of the time. The door to the dining room completely came off in my hand. There were spit balls on the ceiling of the room, there was a ring in the toilet the entire time as if it hadn't been cleaned, one of the lights in the bathroom was old and broken, the towel rack ...

Went on this trip with my family and a travel group. My second time traveling with this group and had a lovely time. We left from Miami to Princess Cay Island which was lovely. This island is privately owned by cruise company and the you can use your room key to purchase here. Also Carnival provided lunch on the island. Next stop was Nassau, Bahamas we did a guided tour this time 20.00 per ...

We had a great cruise. Some things we normally receive have been discontinued, chocolates on pillow, smaller portions in MDR. We had a great time. Kevin the Cruise Director was great, Adrian our favorite bartender never let us down. Juno was an excellent waiter in the MDR. This was our second cruise on Sensation, and the ship is older but still had a blast. Staff was friendly. Husband and I ...

Just got back from this cruise. I am a platinum member. Worst ship in the fleet. Rooms was terrible. My friends had a hole in the floor in their bathroom. Walking around the ship there was a smell of raw sewage. The ship was dirty and rusty all over. Not like other cruise lines. Seems like Carnival doesn’t care about quality. They just want to offer a cheap cruise to the masses. Took the beach ...

Better than expected.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

I chose this cruise due to the destination ports of Jamaica & Grand Cayman & the low price. After reading previous reviews and comments, I really wasn't looking forward to cruising on the Sensation but decided to just have an open mind. Much to my surprise, I actually enjoyed the ship and cruise. Of course it is an older ship so theres obvious wear and tear throughout the ship. But nothing that ...

We picked up this cruise as part of a timeshare promotion. The travel dates were convenient to our work schedule and we were avoiding going to Mexico or Cuba. We upgraded to the porthole room. I was very happy with the porthole, as its primary purpose was to give us a daylight wake-up call. Last cruise we had a window, which we couldn't see out of anyway. We chose early seated dining. No ...

The dining room was our favorite place to dine. The food was great and we enjoyed being waited on. We were not a huge fan of the buffet lines so decided dining was best for us. ALL of the staff we encountered were happy and helpful. The ship itself is old and felt dated but our overall experience was fun. We did beach excursions in both the Jamaica and Grand Cayman ports. I highly recommmend doing ...

My husband, daughter, son in law, our 8 year old granddaughter and myself cruised from Miami to Key West, Cozumel, and back to Miami this year from Nov 1 thru Nov 5. The cruise itself was fun and enjoyable. There were some issues with some minor things- towels looking yellow instead of white, rusted toilet, beds uncomfortable, dining room service was good, but extremely slow getting food out. All ...

We had a great time!

We chose this cruise because it fit with our fall break. I read a lot of reviews of the Sensation that were negative, so I was concerned. But, no need for it! We had a wonderful time! Getting on and off was smooth and organized. The food was good in the dining room and at Guy's Burger and our favorite was the Blue Iguana. The service was great. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. ...

Bad guests, overworked staff

Chose this cruise as a quick get away weekend with my daughter. there was a hurricane in the gulf and it did impact our trip, but really was happy with the direction of the Captain. Staff is so overworked. Our steward appeared to have little time to meet us but he did a very good job considering he had more than 20 rooms each day. The cruise is very inexpensive but with that come a less ...
