Fun 3 Days - and Surprised

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We are experienced cruisers. I am Platinum with Carnival. We booked this cruise because DD needed one more Cruise to make Platinum status with CCL. We sailed on this ship back in March 2006, after Dry Dock and it was a major disappointment. Driving to the port, I kept saying why am I sailing this ship again. It has nothing to do with the class of ship, we have sailed other Fantasy ships in that ...

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I am very disappointed in the Carnival Cruise we just returned from. In fact, I am so upset about having spent money on this 'vacation' that I am sick to my stomach. . We left on a 4 days cruise from Cape Canaveral to Nassau and Freeport Bahamas. We cruised Carnival once for 5 days in 2011 as our first cruise and we were underwhelmed to say the least. Since it was our first cruise we did not have ...

We had cabin E214, stateroom 7214, and it was quiet, the only issue being the shower mixer had no cold water on the first try.My daughter and her husband had cabin 7172 and cabin 7174 and found they were across from the crew elevator. Carts ran across a metal threshold day and night, making quite a racket. We found the dining selections and food to be just OK, though there were some great desserts ...

Enjoyable time on the Sensation, but food was poor.

This was out second cruise, previously cruised with Royal Caribbean. We were just looking for a short getaway without our kids. Even though there were some unfavorable reviews, we went in with an open mind. Embarkation and disembarkation were quick and really did not have any waiting time. The ship is older, very purple, but it was clean, We had an OV Aft room and our room attendant kept it clean ...

This was my second cruise and the first cruise for my husband and two children. We got a great price so for what we got, it was a good cruise. But you get what you pay for, so if you are looking for an awesome cruise, this is not the ship to take. If your primary goal in cruising is to drink and play the casinos, this doesn't disappoint. It is also great as an introductory to cruising However ...

Carnival Cruise , Sensation 3 Day Port Canaveral to Nassau, Bahamas , June 2013 Summary: Great short cruise! Despite our marginal expectations after reading some negative reviews, this turned out to be an excellent get-away and, (pardon the overused term), FUN, cruise. In short, Carnival exceeded our expectations in every way. Key comfort items: The things that we, as an older, ...

First Cruise on the Carnival Sensation

This was my family (myself, 18, my brother, 22, and my parents, 50)'s first cruise, and it was with Carnival,on a 4-night/3-day cruise to Freeport and Nassau, and I'm sad to say that I didn't really enjoy the cruise, although I have nothing to compare it with. Carnival does really live up to its "Fun Ship" moniker, which is one of the reasons I didn't really enjoy it.Highlights:-The staterooms: ...

Did the Thursday- Sunday long weekend trip to Nassau out of Port Canaveral. We definitely got our money's worth but you get what you pay for. Good-Inside cabin was just fine. Spots on the carpet but the room was large enough for two. Bathroom and shower had plenty of room. Air worked. Beds comfortable.Food was good. Had both escargot and lobster. Not any great cuts of steak but chocolate ...

First, I want to say that I am very pleased with our trip overall. We had a great time! We are recent cruise addicts, having started cruising at the end of 2011. We have 6 cruises under our belt in the last year and a half, and 6 more planned to round out 2013 (we set a goal to reach Platinum this year on Carnival). We are not partial to any cruise line - they all have their own unique feel ...

This was a cruise to celebrate my son's graduation from college. There were 8 of us. We got a balcony and the kids had oceanview cabins. So many things got screwed up with our bookings that I didn't think we would actually get on the boat. We had to do a last minute change of two people and that was a fiasco. Apparently there is some "policy" on people under 25 if they aren't your kids they can't ...
