The itinerary was the main reason for choosing Hal, and my last cruise with them was 2003. So the rose coloured glasses came off pretty quick the first day when half the food choices for us were quite ordinary. We have previously completed HAL cruises to Myanmar and Hong Kong from Singapore. This Indonesia cruise was the missing link. We have been to Singapore many, many times. Stayed at Sofitel So. The only highlights were the Telok Ayer Food Market next door to the hotel. and the Botanic Gardens.
