This cruise was 4 nights and our only stop was Cozumel. I went on this same cruise last year. We ate all our meals in the dining room and really didn't think the food was that good. It wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't great. We did randomly try the buffet and it was pretty bad. The evening pizza is good but the line for the pizza was always long.
We had a balcony room and it was ...
The Paradise is close to home so some friends and I decided to try it out. The ship is beautiful and very clean. We have been on other Carnival ships and our only complaint was the slow service. It appears they have fewer employees than in the past so it takes longer to get dinner or even a drink by the pool. The employees we were in contact with were all very happy and wanted to assist with ...
We chose this cruise because it was over my reading week, so I wouldn't be missing any classes. Originally it was just going to be my mom and I, but then my younger sister decided to join us. There were 3 of us in an interior cabin. It never felt cramped.
Out of the 5 days, if you add up the number of hours of sun it was only probably a full day of sun. That was fine. Didn't bother us. At ...
For starters: We chose this cruise for our annual cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The days, dates and departure port of Tampa were convenient, so we booked the Paradise 4-day Cozumel cruise. It's a convenient getaway since you can make a long weekend into a mini vacation - depart Thursday and return on Monday. Tampa, for those who fly, is an efficient airport and the transfers with ...
We chose our cruise for a quick get away to break from my ever stressful job. Plus my wife's birthday was on October 20th so we decided to do something relaxing and fun. We booked the Carnival Paradise knowing it wasn't going to be fancy and possibly full of interesting individuals! Needless to say we were so pleasantly surprised. This ship, although older and smaller than some was absolutely ...
We just returned from a four day cruise on Carnival Paradise , I was hesitant to book this cruise since a four day cruise over a week end means booze cruise and the Paradise is an older ship . The Paradise is in great shape . The decor is a little over the top but so what . The activities are non stop and unlike the bigger ships there is always room in the comedy club . Karaoke was lead by a ...
This was a FANTASTIC cruise! Every person working on the ship from the room steward to the dining room staff, even the Lido deck guys who come by to pick up dirty dishes were very friendly and efficient. Gustavo in the piano bar was awesome - his dialogue with the bar patrons was as entertaining as his music! The food was good both in the MDR and on the buffets. The bar waiters on the Lido ...
This was my second time on the Paradise and I was pleasantly surprised at some improvements! I feel that the ship looked like it had some work done since my last cruise on it two summers ago. I thought the atrium and hallways looked quite nice. This ship is older and has the dark woods that are just nicer than the bright colors. I cannot praise the crew enough! We immediately had that warm and ...
Traveled with Wife and 4 kids(6,9,12,14) on a last minute deal booked directly through carnival. Very easy. Stayed in M142 and M146. We drove down from Atlanta... 7 hour driving time. Stayed in Lake City, Fl on the way down and drove straight through on the way home.
Read lots of reviews and knew what to expect. Knowing this is an older ship and factoring in what we paid, we had reasonable ...
This was a family cruise, it was myself, my husband and my nephew and his wife and his family. I've only ever been on 1 other cruise line in my life, and it was a great experience, this cruise however I wasn't thrilled with. We had a weird, loud, knocking noise in the wall of our cabin room at different hours of the night when we were trying to sleep. It would last anywhere from 30 seconds to a ...
