No swimming for small children even with a swim diaper! Hard to get milk for children, even from room service. No change tables. No wipes or diapers for sale. Some staff are friendly but some see children as an annoyance. We were married on a princess ship but clearly are not welcome now we have children. I’m very saddened by this trip as I expected a 5* experience. We paid the same price for the children as for adults. If princess expects children to have a less then Stella experience. Then we should have paid a discounted rate. My family including Grandparents shall never cruise with princess again. When we called to complain. We were told there was nothing they can do, rules are rules. Well I say shame on princess, you have tried but have failed miserably to garner the support of the future generations. Regards, a party of 22 on the Regal Princess. Read Less

We wanted a Christmas cruise. They excelled in providing a wonderful experience. Decorations superb, staff over the top, entertainment delightful, food and wine very good. We had great table mates from all over Europe and made our trip even more delightful. The ship was beautiful. The cabin large and inviting. Dining in all the venues was a delight. The special Italian dinner in Alfredo's with the chef and Maitre' De's specials was over the top. Service was superlative. The ports and excursions were fun and enlightening. Our weather was beautiful and the seas smooth. We had been on this ship before and were pleased that the quality was still there. This is a big ship but you never feel crowded. The staff bent over backwards to make sure all had a fantastic Christmas with special events such as the hotel manager reading "The Night Before Christmas" with many of the children at his feet. The staff led all in singing Christmas carols. The food at each meal was over the top whether in a specialty restaurant or in the Allegro dining room at the late seating. The classical music group "Rhapsody" was another highlight. We looked each day and followed them to whatever venue they were playing. Read Less

This is the first time i've been on an extended cruise across the Mediterranean Sea. It was a very memorable one which is why i'm looking forward for more cruises to join. There is great variety in the food served and the quality is good. It catered to various folks of a diverse age from all walks of life. Dining arrangements and decorations were excellent. The staff were warm and friendly. The embarkation and disembarkation was smooth and orderly. I enjoyed the shore excursions and the lovely places we were taken to. The Western Mediterranean cruise covers scenic places like Dubrovnik in Croatia and Kotor in Montenegro. The key areas of improvement during my experience were: 1. More entertainment should be catered for children 2. More perks onboard as I found that I had to pay for many things which generally were included in other cruise options Overall, I would try the princess cruise again and hope that the improvements would be addressed.
