Beautiful ship friendly staff.

Review for Celebrity Apex to Caribbean - Western

We are Floridians and our boarding is very easy with all the Covid requirements up to date we just breezed onto ship, we had 2 rooms and everyone agreed that we we had a great time except for the cruise director never around. After being on the Edge we were familiar with the layout. Eating in any of the 4 restaurants is the same except for 3 different specials per restaurant. Food was very good ...

Imprisoned on the High Seas!

Review for Celebrity Apex to Caribbean - Eastern

First, the title. One fine morning our suite butler delivered breakfast on the balcony. As he left, he inadvertently locked the sliding door from the inside. We were trapped on the balcony with no way of contacting the ship. I did have my iPad, so I emailed a friend back home, who called Celebrity's emergency number, and after two hours on the balcony we were released. The staff were properly ...

Outstanding Ship and Service!

Review for Celebrity Apex to Caribbean - Eastern

This was a 7N E Caribbean cruise and I’ll mainly focus on the ship and that experience with a bit on the ports. So you know my ‘biases’, I’ve cruised 40 times, and 26 of those on a Celebrity ship, so I focus on Celebrity itineraries unless it’s a special itinerary or joining friends/party group. I’ve cruised on Edge prior (a Caribbean B2B) and Love the E-Class ships which Apex is the 2nd one of. ...

Fantastic Ship and great experience

The Apex really is a wonderful ship. The decorations are amazing and add to the whole vibe. Prior to this cruise and pre-pandemic I cruised twice in MSC Yacht Club class on the Seaside. This time I was in Aqua Class with an Infinite veranda. Although I thought the cabin was lovely, modern and spotless I do prefer an actual veranda. The is a personal preference and others I spoked to loved the ...

Relaxing Thanksgiving Cruise

Review for Celebrity Apex to Caribbean - Eastern

We decided more last minute to do a Thanksgiving cruise as plans changed. The Apex sails out of Ft. Lauderdale so for us it was a 10 min uber drive to the port. No flying during Covid was a big plus. We had to get tested two days prior, I got us the home proctored test that Celebrity sells on their website. It was pretty easy and convenient. Boarding was the quickest ever for a cruise. We were ...

Celebrity Apex from a 1st timer (RCCL cruises previously)

Apex is a gorgeous ship and there is so much I'd love to share but I will try to share highlights. History: Husband and I have cruised only once together without the offspring on one occasion and it was 14 years ago and on Carnival. We have since cruised with the offspring but exclusively on Royal Caribbean's Freedom or Oasis class. We've always been so happy with RCCL but decided that it ...

Apex, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Review for Celebrity Apex to Caribbean - Eastern

Celebrity is understandably very proud of this ship. It is truly an engineering marvel, highlighted by a large main pool, an outside track with a ramp, a beautiful theater and graphics, the usual excellent crew, great dining, an amazing stateroom and an outdoor seating area aft on an upper deck with a great screen. The ship has some fundamental issues that decrease this rating from 5 star to 4 ...

Celebrity 04-11-21 Music and Entertainment Review

The variety of music on the ship was incredible, and all of the performers were wonderful. There were two DJs that worked in a variety of styles, so there was always something interesting to listen to. I know I'm going to forget someone, but the solo guitarist Ge Luz played romantic chill sets, the D.O.S played dancable Latin , two combos Impuse (@impulsetheband) and the Soundtrack band that ...

Six seniors (70+) from AZ & WA state again cruising together. First time since Oct 2019. Fortunate to be on the only Celebrity Transatlantic with passengers, in spite of warnings and caution from friends and family we decided to cruise on this sailing and are so glad we did. The Apex, brand new, began passenger service June of 21 so only 4 months in use. 3300 Capacity – 1225 on our ...

Beautiful Ship but Lacking In Some Areas

Review for Celebrity Apex to Transatlantic

User Avatar

The Apex is a beautiful ship, but it has short comings in some key areas important to onboard life. First is the infinite balcony. Yes it adds space to the cabin but it has too many design flaws. You can't open the window without shutting down your AC, and when you sit in the chairs and look out, there is a broad metal bar in the middle of your view. Cabins were good with good storage. Our ...
