The itinerary was beyond our expectations. We loved the tours we took, especially Giverny. The tour guides at each stop were so very informative.

Paris and Rouen excursions were great, but this cruise was all about Normandy and the American Cemetery. Viking had a respectful and moving agenda at the cemetery, and I still get choked up telling the tale to friends. This was our second Viking river cruise. As expected, the entire experience was wonderful. Embarkation was smooth, the crew very friendly. Shout out to Urska, the hotel manager. She was great, always smiling and willing to assist.
Chef Jozsef and his chefs did a lovely job with the food. Added treat, dinners on the Aquavit terrace while sailing.
