Bare with me as I'm not good at writing. So this review will be more in points. Embarkation: As a wheelchair user, I had been told that Myself and my hubby could check-in early, but we encountered one rude member of staff who was at the check-in line, who in no uncertain terms told us we had to come back at the time on the boarding passes. She wasnt going to let us through! So we left, and ...

This was our 4th cruise and first time RC. This was a family holiday for my wife & I, and 2 teenagers (13 & 15). We were fortunate to be on the ship for Christmas & New Year. We arrived in Sydney a couple of days before the ship sailed so we wouldn't be rushing. The first time we saw Voyager, it was the 'wow' factor that hit us all. This ship is huge. Embarkation day was not the smoothest ...

My second cruise with Royal Caribbean. The first was on Radiance of the Seas from Fremantle WA to Sydney. This was our first cruise with a balcony and it didnt disappoint. The balcony was large, with two chairs and small table. Plenty of room to stretch out. The bacony rail is wooden and the outer wall is metal so far up then green clear glass up to the rail. The glass was dirty until the ...

We were very excited to have the opportunity to travel on the Voyager of the Seas. We were a travelling party of 3 couples. No matter where we go we always create our own fun, and we did on this cruise. We travelled directly to the ship flying in on the morning of departure and arrived by taxi to the port. Embarkation and disembarking at the start and end of the cruise was excellent, no holds up ...

Overall a great cruise, but to be fair I think ANY cruise is great, they are as good as you make them. Our embarkation was ok, but we arrived late at about 4 pm, bag drop, check in and customs proceeded with no delays. On arrival at the pier it is hard to be anything but awed at VOS 's massive size, really impressive. Due to late arrival we were able to go straight to our cabin. Junior ...

First the good. Embarkation at Circular Quay, Sydney, best ever. 15 mins flat. Disembarkation about the same. (Princess and Fremantle please note). Staff, brilliant, especially our cabin steward Ketut, (yes really and he's heard all the jokes), dining room staff Jarrell and Song, nothing too much trouble. Also, Gordon, the Cruise Director was brilliant, witty, funny and always ready for a ...

we had booked this cruise 12 months ago and was quite expecting it to go all out for "american christmas" and "new years eve" whilst being in the middle of the ocean. we travelled to sydney by two hire car's as there was six of us and arrived at circular quay to take back the hire car. i did not like the fact we had to wait 4 hours to get into our room as we had a lot to cart around the ship ...

I booked our cruise on line and had no trouble what so ever. Used an internet site. The staff were exceptionally helpful. However we were not informed about the drop off luggage area. Consequently we booked a motel room for the morning as our flight from Perth had left at midnight & we arrived in Sydney at 6.00am for a boarding at 1.30pm Not wanting to carry our luggage around Sydney we thought ...

We arrived in time to embark on time and only took 30 minutes, as the rooms weren't ready we disembarked immediately to have lunch with family and friends at the Waterfront restaurant - great day had by all and embarked again at 4.30pm to check out our stateroom (top of the range balcony)!!!. I could not believe the condition of the cabin, small, dated, faded curtains, sofa, carpet etc. In need of ...

Our cruise to NZ left Sydney on Dec 8th 2012. We cruised with our 2 children, my 80 year old parents and a mother couple. It was to be the trip of a lifetime. FIrst the positives. Our stateroom attendant and our waiting staff in the dining room absolutely made our trip. They became like family members and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in the dining room was fabulous and the ...
