Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

Chose this cruise as a family Christmas surprise, with our daughter and two grandchildren, 8 & 14. Notified too late to cancel that we were to go to Port Kembla instead of Lifou !! When I complained the response was that we could cancel and lose our money and "look at the fine print re:ports. Lots of guests complained about this and received the same response. Cruise was over run by kids ...

Booked this as a family Christmas cruise (11 people including two kids). Supposed to do three island ports but a few weeks before the cruise I was informed by my agent that one of the ports had been cancelled and Port Kembla was the substitute only an hours drive from where I live in Sydney and Sydney is where the cruise started and ended. This is by far far the ugliest port i have visited and I ...

I have heard so much about cruises that I must take another one since the 60s. This is indeed an excellent surprise. The staff were all very courteous and diligent in their work. I was impressed by the dinning room service which was more than excellent. The drink waiter, Budi was very good and the food waiter Simi was always courteous in his service. The cabin twice a day service was ...

I have just returned back from a 7 night South Pacific cruise onboard Voyager of the Seas, below is my somewhat lengthy review. Embarkation Embarkation in Sydney was very smooth. I arrived at the port at 1pm and was onboard by 1.30. The porters came straight up to the car boot to take our bags, so I go go straight through to checkin with no wait followed negligible wait for ...

This is our first cruse with Royal Caribbean and the last. We traveled with twelve of our friends and we were all very disappointed. First I am a sun worshiper. I sat there for about four hours and not one person came over to ask if I wanted a drink. Second we ordered pictures they told us it would be ready at 10:30 that evening, well it was not. They said come back tomorrow which was our last ...

My friend and I were interested in doing a cruise together and we were recommended Royal Caribbean by our travel agent. I had cruised before on the Queen Mary 2 but was interested in experiencing a more casual cruise. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much but I definitely did! I did a lot of research about Royal Caribbean beforehand so I was well prepared with what to expect when we were on ...

So, where to start... I have a lot to say and struggled to find a review that covered my questions before we left so I'll probably have a lot to say here. We are a married couple in our early 30's and travelled with a 27 year old mate. We go to bed at 10pm most night, work hard most of the time and go out in the city about twice a year. We are not really party people but enjoy having a good ...

Fantastic Cruise

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

For my first cruise the 13 night was a good length to find out what cruising is all about. I shared a promenade cabin with work mate. The cabin a good size for two older women and had a good view of the promenade for people watching without leaving the cabin, although we didn't have much time for this. The food was excellent with lots of choices, and lots of it from buffet style, formal dining, ...

Voyager of the Seas Pacific Islands Cruise: Not my type of cruise

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

We did book this cruise because of its departure date and itinerary were compatible with a preceding Princess cruise to New Zealand. Although we knew from previews that the atmosphere would be more like a party ship (what we do not really like), reality was yet a big disappointment. Even before the cruise started we had the first disappointment when we got an e-mail telling us that one of ...
