Chose cruise for 2 grandkids, 4 1/2 and 2 1/2.
Swimming pools much too small for numbers of kids. Felt like large, crowded bath tubs.
Show are at 6 and 8:30 pm. If want to eat and see show at the other time, it's a problem with this age kid. Dinner at 6 makes show at 8:30 too late and show at 6, dinner at 8:30 is too late. Only other place to eat is in buffet restaurant where you can choose ...
Disney Dream is the perfect weekend getaway for any couple. Drove from Atlanta and stayed at Port Canaveral the night before the cruise. (Highly recommend the Homewood Suites) Had a leisurely morning and headed to the boat around 11am and on-board at 11:45. (Platinum Castaway get on-board first) Lunch at Cabana's (Buffet style, Deck 11 aft), Drinks around the Adult Pool bars (Deck 11/12 ...
Family oriented, great service and excellent entertainment.
No need to spend any money, attention to detail and comfort in every aspect of the cruise gives you the ability to enjoy the cruise and kids had a blast!
Entertainment was well beyond our expectations for a ship's and there was always something to do for both kids and adults.
Disney has a lot of resources and their staff are very ...
My family (Myself, my husband, son-14 yrs, and daughter-12yrs ) had never been on a cruise. We chose Disney because my kids are allergic to nuts and fish/seafood/sesame and we knew from Disney World experience and talking with their allergist that Disney would be the best- AND IT WAS!!! Their safety with eating is the most important aspect of traveling for us.
With the allergies, traveling ...
Disney does an excellent job of entertainment. Disney shows were Broadway quality in both talent and production. Ship seemed a little too crowded for outdoor shows, and for family pool areas.
Definitely liked the rotating dining (you dine in three different dining facilities during the week, with different chefs, but same servers).
Will do again as a large family event. Will probably not ...
Hello,
My family and I recently returned from our first Disney Cruise. We did the 7 night Disney Magic Cruise (10/14-10/21) from NY, to Castaway Cay, to Port Canaveral. I cannot express how amazing this trip truly was. Every facet of the cruise exceeded our expectations. The ship was immaculate and well maintained. The food quality was amazing and delicious no matter where we ate. We generally ...
This was my second time on the Disney Magic with my two daughters 16 and 11. I love these cruises as it gives me time to myself and time for us together. My girls are adventurous eaters and had a lot of fun trying new things. I have a big sweet tooth that I don't indulge at home and every dessert was on the mark.
We had an inside cabin which is nice because it's very quiet and will get very ...
We decided to take a Disney cruise before the kids got too much older and wouldn't appreciate the Disney theme. Everyone we spoke with before the cruise told us that Disney cruises were the best. The service was superior to all other cruise lines, the entertainment was better, the food was better, and we were told that we would never want to cruise another cruise line again. Well, our ...
I booked this cruise as a gift for my niece. Due to health issues, neither one of us can fly. Embarking from San Diego, where we live was perfect.
My niece, who is 48 years old is a Disney maniac. Halloween on the High Seas was a bonus.
She has recently been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Life span for her, living out of a facility is 12-18 months. This was perfect ...
This was our second time on the Disney Dream and it was still just as magical as the first. The first time we went with a Disney cruise was back in January of 2017. The second time was even more spectacular than the first because we knew exactly what to expect and our way around the ship, making it much more easy going. We always sail in a deluxe stateroom with a veranda and our stateroom host is ...
