This was our 2nd Disney cruise. Our first cruise in 2007 on the Magic was spectacular and blew us away on quality of service and entertainment having many past cruises under our belts from other companies. We called Disney our 6 star cruise experience. We thought we'd try it once again now that our daughter was a little older (13 instead of 5 yrs old on the last Disney cruise). We had a blast but ...
We had 2 staterooms. My DD (4) and I were in one and my parents were down the hall. Both were verandas on deck 9, near mid-ship.
All the adults in our party have been on numerous cruises on various lines (my parents have done 60+ cruises each and I'm somewhere around 15-20). This was DD's third cruise. I had sailed on the Disney Magic 15 years ago (was my worst cruise), but none of the others had ...

Last week, I and my two sons ages 6 and 8 years embarked on our fourth Disney cruise. Despite fantastic previous experiences, this last cruise was truly our best. This review is meant to share my thoughts and experiences on Disney Cruise Line (DCL) and the Fantasy, with a focus at the end of my review on the concierge service.
This Disney Fantasy is a magnificent ...
I went solo on the Disney Fantasy for my Presidents' Week vacation and had a wonderful time! This was my third Disney cruise - the other two have been on the Dream - and 5th cruise overall. I have always been a Disney girl and part of a Disney family, so for me, the extra money is worth it for the Disney difference!
I had booked an 8B GTY and was ultimately assigned a 4E - Deluxe Stateroom with ...
Wonderful cruise! We were a little concerned about the weather before we left because it was supposed to rain and be on the cool side, but it turned out being absolutely perfect. Our cruise director made the comment that it was the best weather they had experienced all year. Overall, we had a lot of fun, but I'll break down the specifics below.
Getting on board- Easy. Disney allows you to choose ...
Our 25 Jan. 2015 cruise on Allure of the Seas was immediately followed by a family cruise on Disney Magic, departing on 1 February, so this provides an excellent opportunity to compare and contrast. First and foremost it is safe to say that the product offered by Disney is not the same as that offered by RCL and in my opinion is not something that bears repeating once the children all have their ...
My wife and I took our two kids (4 & 6) on the Disney Dream on February 9th-13th. I gotta say Disney is the best when it comes to the customer service, shows, ship cleanliness and organization. We all had a fun time, despite a couple of things beyond DCL's control:
1.) The weather was very windy and about 70 degrees most of the cruise. We did the dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon Island in Nassau. ...
This is my second Disney Cruise ship review.
My first Cruise was on the Disney Dream in September 2013. Now about a year and a half later we have sailed on the second of the Big Ships , The Disney Fantasy.
We arrived at the port from WDW Caribbean Beach resort via Disney Transportation. This I would not do again. The bus was fine it was clean and the service was excellent. However when you ...
We had a direct flight from LA to Orlando, a red eye. We fly delta because of the first bag free. 1 bag each and a carryon is plenty. We'd never been to Port Canaveral & I was very apprehensive. Because we had a family of 4, we opted to rent a minivan. Initially the prices can be very high where it appears to be to expensive. But, if you you Priceline which we did you can find really great rates. ...
Was a little disappointed with this cruise, not as great as expected. We were staying at the Beach Club at WDW, so we took the shuttle bus from there to the port. Very easy. We were with our children and two young grandsons. We had adjoining family staterooms with balconies. The rooms were very large and and nicely laid out, they slept five, the bathroom was great, two choices of shower heads and ...
