Nice ship, very bad service

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Toscana

I chose the crusie because MSC cancelled their cruise in similar dates. I thought that what matters the most is the ship. Unfortunately I was very wrong. MSC quality in comparison to Costa is like Mercedes to Dacia. Costa Toscana is a nice ship, new clean with many useful facilities. But all pros ends here. Service is slow, food is awful ( I couldn't believe that no vegetables are ...

We are veterans of about 25 cruises. We have been on NCL, HAL, Celebrity, Windstar, Viking, Princess and Carnival. We have cruised the Caribbean, the Mediterranean the Baltic, Alaska and a trans Atlantic. This was our first cruise on Costa. We joined some extended family who had already booked. They are European. 1) The Costa App is not compatible with the US App Store, so we could not ...

Every information you need for the ship including meal and drink menus were in the costa app which none of the American cells networks are compatible with. Didn’t find that information until 3 days later. If you have a smart phone you can still scan QR code of wherever place you are in the boat. Well they should have that detail disclose somewhere when you book the cruise as they know who is from ...

The Costa Toscana it’s a beautiful ship has a lot to offer. Great Amenities on board. I recently sailed on the Toscana, and I was so disappointed in the Frontline staff who should have all the answers to your questions. The Frontline staff were very rude and unhelpful. The food choices were adequate, controlled, but the Buffet choices were the same every day. I took the liberty of going to the ...

Never again Costa, after 10 Costa cruises the measure is now full. We were not the only ones, heard several people say: never again Costa. What a disappointment: - Embarkation: 6 hours in the heat, no information what was going on, finally your turn, but sent back for mandatory Corona test (no mention at booking or at the entrance for check-in), again to the counter and then again with ...

Excellent ship - food maybe not to my taste - very few UK guests

Cabin - I paid for an interior but got bumped up to a balcony at no additional cost. The cabins are very clean and nicely decorated. I found the bed comfortable but have some odd choices such as the interior glass screen between the bathroom and bedroom with a curtain plus the lack of a fridge is an issue. Dining - The food is orientated towards the Italian, French and Spanish guests ...

The vessel is nice but noting other than that. we have been before twice with MSC and its noting to compare. The vessel was full and it doesn't seems prepared for that as we always needed to stand in long lines every where. You always need to use an extra effort to get something and it shouldn’t be like that when you are on holiday. The food is absolutely ridicules bad, both in the ...

I've sailed NCL, Princess and MSC. Like MSC, I didn't go with high expectations based on reviews. The trick is to go with low expectations and then you won't be disappointed! The truth is you can't pay Costa money and expect NCL quality. Value for money wise - I thought it was very good. Good points: Ship facilities (relatively new ship, clean throughout, nothing looked ...

I can't even begin to start, the captain is a terrible driver we were on the 9th floor and we felt the ship moving so bad that the whole family got sick the food is extra and the buffet food is the same every day we couldn't even play bingo correctly without people yelling about the numbers and it was rigged to drop down from 5000 to 500 dollars no one ever wins the 5000$ I suggest if your gonna ...
