I really enjoyed my trip. The crew was nice and welcoming. There were lots and lots of entertainment. We participated in the Lotto draw and my brother in law, won a price i.e. a dinner in one of your esteemed restaurant. He was the one who took us on cruise. The ship is really beautiful. The service also was nice. The only problem is that being an Indian and pure vegetarian my choice of ...

Positive comments: Room steward was excellent but overworked, on other ships we never saw a room steward working every night at ten pm. The waiters were overworked but excellent The theater shows were consistently very good. Indeed they were the best shows we have seen than on any other cruise line we cruised with including Carnival, Princess and Celebrity. The animation team was ...

Not for the English

We cruised on this ship in December 2015. The ship itself was very clean and well maintained if somewhat flamboyant in the decor, still everyone's taste is different. However if you are English speaking beware. The announcements on board were given in 4 languages, English being one of them, but so heavily accented that we could not understand them. The staff all seemed to struggle with English ...

We had booked a classic without view and were amazed when 3 weeks before sailing we got our cabin assignment - upgrade to a mini suite. The cabin was comfortable and clean and was our oasis of calm helped by a very efficient stewardess. This was the best thing about the entire cruise. I have had 11 cruises on Costa over the years but this cruise will be the last. In Europe the ship turned ...

Wow fantastic, Fabulous food, brilliant entertainment, stunning dancers, well looked after ship and great service who could ask for more! We embarked from Venice, all the staff were friendly and efficient. When we entered, wow it looked amazing and it was, the decor is very Italian and very flamboient but stunning. There was entertainment all day from the animation staff and the dancers but ...

Do not travel with this cruise company.

We have cruised with several shipping companies. Costa is without competition the worst we cruised with so our recommendation is do not throw away your money on this company and its ships. The food on the ship was really lousy and badly cooked. Of 17 dinners only three approved the other was below standard. Let the shipping company sink to the ocean bottom. One positive thing, however, ...

The ship was beautiful BUT it was all money money money, if you are a vegetarian then don't go unless you want omelet as that was all I was offered, can't eat that for nearly a month, they really didn't want English passengers on board, it was my for ever dream to go on a cruise as had worked on ships and wanted to be the passenger, boy was I disappointed, I paid extra for a outside cabin with sea ...

Some Bad Points, A Lot of Good Points

Costa Diadema, November 2015, 7 day Western Mediterranean. Costa's newest, largest and glitziest ship. a version of Carnival's newest Fantasy class. Ports included Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma, Naples and La Spezia. Each port had some passengers joining and leaving, which provides a better atmosphere than the highly regimented, everybody on-everybody off one gets in the Caribbean. Seyne ...

We boarded the ship at Trieste where l have to say was very disorganised, whether it was due to the hurricane strength winds l don't know. Anyway after boarding we went straight to our cabin which was the largest inside cabin we've had. It was lovely and clean with plenty of storage. There we met our steward who was very polite and cheerful. After we had the safety drill we went to explore and l ...
