Re-positioning cruise from the Med to South America

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Costa Fascinosa

We booked this cruise because of its destinations and reasonable price. Having been on Costa before on several occasions, we were aware of the potential problem with few english speaking passengers but this did not detract from our enjoyment. We travelled as a group of 8 younger pensioners into dancing and activities, all of which were excellent. Even the six days at sea from Tenerife to ...

This cruise was the worst cruise i have ever been on for various reasons. I will first start by saying the only two positives which were the Ship which was fairly new and in good shape and the overall staff (they work really hard/do the best they can for being overworked). Those are the only two positives i can think of. The negative: Food: The food quality and availability were horrible. ...

This ship is one of the largest of Costa Cruises. The checkin was very fast and efficient. Once we got on the ship, we realized how spectacular it was. As it was a special cruise New Year, it was almost maximum capacity, and still not face long lines for meals as many complained here. The public of the Costa Cruises are well diversified, many Europeans, Latin Americans, etc .... people ...

Terrible Cruise And Not For Americans

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Costa Deliziosa

First I want to say the room with a balcony was great and roomy. The workers on board work very hard and long hours. Now the bad, This was the most unusual cruise ship that we have been on. Did not know the ship would be mainly Italians, even though I knew it was an Italian ship. Costa needs to Americanize the ship a whole lot more if it wants to cruise from FT.Lauderdale, Fla USA. This ship ...

Costa Fascinosa Quite a Deception for Us

Review for a South America Cruise on Costa Fascinosa

Wife and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and decided to take the Costa Lines Fascinosa cruise from Argentina, to Brazil, Uruguay and back. Some things were good like the nice cabin with a balcony and a cabin boy (Joao) that made life easy for us with great cabin service and a constant friendly smile. The Samsara Spa experience at their thermal baths package was a good value for a ...

We decided to go away for Christmas so we decided to go on a cruise round the Emirates, so we booked with Thomas Cook one night stay in Dubai in the Grand Time Hotel. The hotel was not what we had expected for Dubai tired & dated when we found the room it was facing a very busy road & after a long journey we did not need this apart form that the sheets had holes in once again very dated. The ...

Staff are wonderful, Food superb (lots of choice from Buffet - several different service statons offering different sorts of meals - so wander around first before you decide!! (preferred it to main restaurant as two sittings one is very early (18:30) and one is very late (21:15)). Gym excellent and Pilates and Yoga also on offer. Security very good. Everyone speaks english though some of the ...

I am a single older lady with mobility difficulties (I use a stick to walk) and I must say I had the most wonderful time on my Christmas cruise aboard this beautiful ship. This was my first cruise with Costa Mediterranea. From the booking procedure through to the last day of the cruise, this was an excellent experience. The Ship is stunningly beautiful. The crew members, each and every one ...

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas! So wonderful we are already booking again for next Xmas! This was our second cruise first time with Costa, previous one with MSC. The highlight for us was the Xmas Eve Gala Dinner ( lobster and fillet steak just 2 of the many choices) and believe it or not having eaten so much on Xmas Eve I had not expected to enjoy another gourmet Gala 6 course ...

Not for Americans

Review for a South America Cruise on Costa Deliziosa

I like to start off with good things to say, the bread, pastries, deserts, our table waiters and cabin steward and dance lessons were all good. Outside of that the experience on the ship was the worst. This was our 16th cruise and 9th with our son. So I will compare with my previous experiences. The Costa Deliziosa has interiors that are very tacky and gaudy, your reflection will follow you ...
