Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Compared to the newer ships a bit disappointing. Rooms so small. No great roof gardens . Not as many bar options. Biggest disappointment is moving the Sushi bar from the Cafe to a paid restaurant!!! Staff were great and the Captain was always out talking to passengers. The entertainment was fantastic,, enjoyed the shows. The timing of music in the bar areas was not very good. Hope ...

Hong Kong to Tokyo Cruise

Chose this cruise because of itinerary and friends traveling this ship. We added the Celebrity 3-day Hong Kong City Stay and were very unhappy with it. The guide was terrible! We had about 18 people in our group all squished into this mini-bus with really small seats, 2 to each side with narrow aisle between. Heavy set folks could only sit one per side. My husband and I are fairly slim and we ...

Fantastic week on Celebrity Reflection Western cruise

Boarding was slick in Miami and we were on board within 20 minutes, eating lunch at Ocean View Café. Travelled with 2 children aged 9 and 8 and there were a large amount of children on board which meant kids club had plenty of attendance at activities. Children loved the cruise and choice of activities and food on board. We enjoyed the variety of eating and drinking options and tried Tuscan ...

Great ports, disappointing ship

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

I was part of a group of 36 traveling together with a travel agent and I chose this cruise because I had never been to Asia before. I am a 69 year old widow and often travel with friends. My experience with the ship's tours was excellent and that part of the cruise exceeded my expectations. Some in our group thought that the excursions were mis-rated as to strenuousness but I did not find that ...

I was not impressed with the security during embarkation. It was a total cluster. As suite guests ours was 1 of the last to arrive at our cabin and yet we were one of the first to arrive on-board. Huge problem during shows where people were allowed to sit in the aisles. This was a huge fire hazard concern. People would not be able to evacuate during a fire drill. In our cabin it was a great ...

From the minute we stepped on board we felt welcome with a smiling and happy crew! Taken to our lunch spot, Luminae where we were also welcomed with smiles and a feeling of "feeling like home". Our staff Rosebud, Elvira, Natalia were just wonderful and we felt sad when we left 12 days later:( The ship is in need of a little TLC but nothing that bothered us at all. We were upgraded (not free) so we ...

Disappointing

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

This was our 2nd cruise on the Solstice, the first being in 2016 and could not fault anything. But what a difference a year makes! The ship is beautiful and elegant and spotlessly clean. Staff amazing and always friendly and helpful, cannot fault them. We felt that Celebrity had lost its edge and certainly cut back on lots of little things. There was very little entertainment during the day, ...

We had a great trip, with a few minor anoyances, but nothing that ruined the vacation. Embarkation could have gone smoother. We got married on embarkation day on the ship at the port. Apparently the guest list of my nonsailing guests (sent 30 days prior to sailing with all their required information) did not get turned over from the ship to customs, so none of my non sailing guests, the ...

Second time on the Solstice - time for a change

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

We had a great Cruise on Solstice over NY 2015/16 so booked again and upgraded to sky suite. Loved the perks and the wonderful staff however the Sky suite BADLY needed new pillows and a bed. When you book a suite you do not expect a bed to sag so badly and the sofa pillows to be more comfy then whats on the bed. They no longer offer a pillow menu. However the staff of the solstice made up ...

First time on Celebrity, not that impressed

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

While I normally cruise with Princess, Celebrity offered the itinerary we wanted. We paid extra for the "Concierge Class". Not worth it. The ship was lovely, but nothing really stood out other than the Hot Glass Show (which was fantastic!). While I have never had a "bad" cruise, I am not sure why Celebrity is billed as a "premium" cruise line. It was just not all that special. Service was ...
