Absolute lack of accountability!!!!! More than 60 hours on the phone to celebrity even before our cruise..over 40 of those hours were on hold! most times, wait to talk to one person and get put back on hold while you are transferred to someone else. When the price of our cabin/cruise dropped, went through 3 transfers before finally getting a representative that said she would not give our ...
We had a great time on Celebrity Edge! The food everywhere is amazing and the service is first class! The entertainment is high energy and full of talent. Three shows and three comic acts!
The spa thermal suite was dreamy! Loved the walking track and gym too! The tender process to Grand Cayman was quick and smooth. The life boats are like a luxury craft.
The Edge class ships should attract a ...
I have seen the future of adult cruising, and it is the Edge. We were on the Western Caribbean maiden voyage - we had a great time, but would just as soon take our next trip on one of the other ships. As with anything new, there are pros and cons.
Pros.
Best embarkation and disembarkation ever
- face recognition technology and a new terminal in Fort Lauderdale make getting on and off ...
we joined this cruise to experience this brand new ship for a short vacation before Christmas, it was generally a great time. boarding experience and even the exit at the end was very easy and fast. Although as we had a return flight to get to we decided to disembark at earliest with our luggage, That was a first and a long slow line as Very many others made the same 7:15 try to get moving off ...
I was very excited to try the Edge It was the maiden voyage so expected a few wrinkles I was quite impressed with the cabins layout the shower was very comfortable My husband is well over 6' and he was quite comfortable. We had an Oceanview cabin and there was plenty of room for 2 to maneuver. The food was outstanding we tried the different venues and found the each one different and enjoyable The ...
We booked the maiden 7 night western Caribbean cruise in aqua class. We are very experienced Celebrity and Royal Caribbean cruisers with over 50 cruises in our wake. We found the ship visually stunning with innovative architecture and interior decorating. The highly advertised new balcony design was a disappointment. After a couple days we found ourselves wishing for a traditional balcony. We ...
I was on the first 7 night Edge cruise, and after over 70 cruises on Celebrity, I finally had a bad one. I won’t be booking Edge again.
This is despite the fact that it is a beautiful ship. There’s no denying that. But form and function did not come together here.
I liked the artwork on board but would have liked some signage to know the name of the work and the artist.
I liked the ...
Previously booked for Jan, 2019 but decided to go on 1st Maiden Voyage.
We're retired in our early 70's but very active. Celebrity appears to be aiming at the wrong demograpics. Most Celebrity Cruisers are over 55-70 including us who are 71 $ 72 .. Millineals for the most part cannot afford the cruise fares for ships of Celebrity upscale ships. . Our three children are in their 40's, have ...
We were very excited to sail on this new ship. I just think there was too much oversell and then once you are on there its not all that they made it out to be. Getting on the ship was quite easy. Cabin service was good, but the infinity veranda was like a window, didn't have the same feel as a true balcon. Some meals were hit and miss both with food and service. Raw was good. Shopping was ...
