We had to go on Celebrity’s newest ship. We are fans of Celebrity and are loyal to the brand as Elite members. We felt the hype was not warranted. The Celebrity Edge I think was very innovative and for the most part very spacious.
The Eden, lounge in the back of the ship, felt very relaxing without loud music and was able to find quiet spaces to read and watch the ocean pass by. We had a great time on this cruise. Ports and entertainment were excellent. Celebrity ran many extra activities and gifts for elite members and above. The food was quite good. Background...we prefer smaller ships so booked a Skye Suite. Entertainment is not a priority for us but dining is. We do not gamble.
Pros. Lovely ship with great furniture design. Loved the Skye Suite and The Retreat. Our butler made the trip as well as the room steward. Embarking was a pleasure with the dockside Retreat.

We sailed on the Celebrity Edge maiden voyage on 12-9-2018. The ship itself is simply amazing. It is a well thought out design and aesthetically beautiful.
We had an infinite veranda room which we found to be larger than the average veranda cabin on most ships.The bathroom in the room is well laid out and provides a few more square feet than normal.
