Elation, Post Dry Dock Cruise #3

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

I just finished a cruise 10-21 on Elation. Overall, a great cruise for us. We had an OV on deck 4. We did experience very low water pressure the first night in our sink (shower was fine). We asked our stateroom attendant about it the next afternoon, and later the night it was fixed. Our a/c did fine, but we also take a small box type fan with us for circulation. We also noticed some of the ...

The Bland reunion choose this cruise to celebrate its 33rd reunion. I liked that the ship served and extended breakfast lunch in the dinning room on sea days. The ship needs a paint job. Also carpets could using a cleaning. Buffet was not as good as the one on Celebrity but then I usually don't go to the buffet. Dinning room was OK but would have been nice to see more food selection. Staff ...

Over all this was super fun! There was a big group of us 9 to be exact including a 6 year old and an 8 year old. Getting on the ship was just fine. We had a 1030 check in but got there by 9 and got to drop off our luggage and explore around the terminal. We also jumped into the early arrival line and got in quickly. Once on the ship it was great. Lots to do and see and the lines weren't ...

Never cruised, picked for location, and then picked for destination. The Valor was fabulous, it had everything I needed. Went above and beyond for my expectations. I would love to set sail on the Valor again. The crew was great as well. Always had a smile on their faces. The port of Galveston was easy to get on and off. We went at 1:30pm and had absolutely no lines or issues. We carried our ...

My sister and I had a great first time on the Carnival Dream (first time on Carnival too). The staff were great, balcony room all good, and there were many activities on board. The Cruise Director Chris Williams ("The Flying Scotsman") was absolutely awesome, he went above and beyond to give everyone the personal touch. He is also an amazing singer and entertainer! The food was a little ...

This was my first cruise. I had a great time. The room steward we had was absolutely the best and went out of their way to make our voyage fantastic. Entertainment was amazing. Only issue I had with the food was the blandness they tend to need to fix it to accommodate the most food tastes. While the food was bland it was good. The dining room had a different menu every night (other than a ...

My boyfriend and I's second cruise together, and my fourth cruise overall. And boy, do we seem to have a hard time picking the winners. I wish I could leave a better review, because I was super excited for this vacation, and went into it with positive expectations. First of all, we are Florida residents, and have the luxury of driving to Port of Miami for departure. Port of Miami is ...

Honeymoon with my family

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

I have traveled with Carnival 3 times prior to this cruise and it was decent for the price. The Vista did not include hardly anything. The zipline bikes were only open 3 hours a day, the restaurants were only open at odd times, usually when people were enjoying the islands, my grandbaby was told he wasn't allowed in the pool because he wears swim diapers - yet many other toddlers in diapers were ...
