This cruise has been a horrible experience from day one. EVERY bit of this cruise, with the exception of the cleaning and wait staff, has been awful. I am severely lactose intolerant, and NEVER before have I had the flat refusal to make me something I could eat like I have on this cruise. I have starved for five days. I reiterate, I have paid an obscene amount of money to starve for five days. There hasn't been one ounce of sympathy nor had there been any effort at all to resolve this issue. Not even a "sorry". Just a, "no, you cant eat this". They have a minimal amount of dairy free options and the ones they do have are awful. How hard is it to cook a hamburger that isnt like eating sand or cook a steak that isnt horribly bland and tougher than my belt? Also, the lemonade, water, tea, and ice tasted horribly of chlorine. Now let's get to the wedding. The so called wedding director missed ALL of their scheduled meetings and had no clue what was going on. To make matters worse, once we got to the island the folks their yelled at us and chewed our backsides because SHE either didn't relay the information we were supposed to have or told us wrong. Now let's move on to the reception where the paid open bar was not a true open bar. To make matters worse, they served the children, I repeat CHILDREN, alcoholic punch, rum punch to be exact. This has been a horrendous experience from day one and I would not recommend the Carnival Sensation, let alone the Carnival Cruise Line, for any cruise. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit different islands for Christmas and we had not been to Turks & Caicos or to Half Moon Cay. This was the only option. I have done more than ten cruises in my life, but it was my first Carnival. NEVER AGAIN. The ship is old, the decoration is very tacky, the whole ship smells of mold, sweat and grease. The curtains had poke holes throughout the ship. The swimming pool's water was brown. The buffet food looked like something you would eat in prison. At the formal dining restaurants, the food was better, but nothing compared to a Royal Caribbean or a Norwegian. However, if you paid extra to get the Specialty Menu, the food was delicious. The cabin carpet had stains. Entertainment was terrible, the only thing fun was the Cruise Director, he made the impossible to keep people entertained, but he was on his own at this mission. The cruise did not stop at Half Moon Cay and they only let us know about it an hour before the scheduled time, blaming the weather conditions (I had faced much worse weather and was always able to leave the ship). It was a terrible experience and I am never choosing Carnival again. Read Less

We chose this cruise because it sounded so good with the new makeover and refurbishment.Well after a month in Singapore to do all the work I don’t know what happened because when we got on the ship was in poor condition, the interior looks a lot like an old run down casino in Freeman st Las Vargas .Problems started from the minute we arrived at Boarding,it took 3 hours to get on the ship then at least another hour to hand our passports in and put money on our ship card,It was extremely hot, no around staff didn’t know what they were doing,no one could answer questions or give directions. The ship is hard to get around during the entire trip only half of The lifts were working at any one time.Washing machines didn’t work for several days.A lot of rude staff,I asked for a glass if water in the adults only area on my first day and was told to get it my self.Food was not the best and nearly the same every day.No butter only a white spread they call butter it was disgusting, very expensive drinks, activities mainly involved money they pushed all activities that you had to pay ,nothing to do on Sea day, very little room around or in the pool due to the large amount of people.Tours extremely expensive and very hard to get off the ship on time.I have been on a lot of cruises and this one was definitely the worst.I would not recommend this ship.Staff need training,Chefs definitely need to learn to cook better and there needs to be a better variety of food, entertainment, and daily activities. The first day was as expected very busy with getting people on and off the ship. Met our steward Juan who was AMAZING. The cruise director (Alex) was also fun himself. Our stateroom was nice we had a mini suite big enough for the two of us that went. The VIP Blue Lagoon excursion in Nassau was AMAZING (for adults only). Thats were all the positive comments end. The sewage smell on this cruise was AWFUL! The food was AWFUL. There isn't much to do in Princess Cay unless you book some type of excursion. The beach area is really nice, but very crowded once everyone is off the ship. The kitchen staff was very rude left spills in the floor also was serving adults children size portions (not like it was worth eating anyways). Finally, embarkment was the worse I had ever experienced on any cruise! They were doing the normal drills scanning sail and sign cards as you exit the ship we were stopped and asked to pull out our birth certificates and photo IDs (not to mention we are blocking the line on the atrium floor for others to exit). We were asked to follow this gentleman down to US immigration customs (at this point we are embarrassed and confused) no-one would explain what was going on. They searched our bags and in customs and finally we were free to go. I really feel they could have went about the situation a different way than stopping us in front of everyone on the ship and making this big aggressive scene. Made us seem like criminals... not cool. Needless to say if I ever decide to go back on a Carnival cruise is will definitely not be on this ship! Read Less

This was the most rockiest ship I have ever been on. The boat rock to hold trip. Every one was talking about this boat I did not enjoy this trip. I am glad I made it off safe. This make you not want to go on another cruise again. They charge you even if you didn't have any services. The food was ok , not the best like we have had on other cruises. Things for the children to do was good. I didn't like that if camp is include we had to pay $18 until 1am. Other cruises charge $1. The dining room staff, some were good and some ppl had a nasty attitude. The food took to long to like a hour. The breakfast food in the dining room was was nasty. Thick raw French toast that look like a half loaf of bread. I just didnot enjoy this cruise and will not recommend it. Read Less

I thought this would be a nice cruise considering the ship was new and I really enjoyed my last Mexican Riviera Cruise on Royal Caribbean. ( Yes it was a long time ago) The ship is new and this was it's second voyage and that's where the fun ends. Honestly the best part of this cruise was going ashore at the 3 stops. The problem started right from the beginning, 4 room keys were left at the door to the room and none of them were working. No problem, I'll just go to guest relations and some new keys. Well apparently other passengers had a similar experience and the line was long. After waiting for 30 minutes, I had 4 new keys and yes they worked this time. But there was another problem with the new keys which I will get to later. Thew next issue I have with this cruise is the ridiculous amount of money that everything costs, yes the food is included but no drinks are, which is fine all other cruises have the same policy. What I take exception to is the outrageous $3 per pepsi, of course coke is not available. I don't mind paying for the drinks but $3 for a can?? Give me a break. This cruise has a gaming area where kids can play video games, again $1 per game, $1.25 per game, $1.50 per game? Really? I mean these chuck e. cheese type activities should be included or maybe .25 cents per game. This brings us back to the room keys, one of the activities they have on this ship is sky zone trampoline park. Which for $12 an hour is actually reasonable, so we thought we would give it a try. Signing up at the kiosks turned out to be an adventure, oops something went wrong every time I tried to book it. Six different times and six failures, oh well I give up. But little did I know at the time my card was charged for 6 skyzone adventures at $24 a pop, $12 for each kid. Even though we did not get to use the park a single time. On to guest relations for a refund, waiting in line again. This time it was not so bad, guest relations said they would contact sky zone and get my card refunded. 2 days later when I checked my account the money had not been refunded. This time I had to go to the sky zone manager who was aware of the situation and had authorized my refund but for some unknown reason guest relations had not processed the refund. The skyzone manager met me at guest relations and had them process my refund. This is where I found that there was some type of computer problem that caused many passengers to have the same issue with skyzone. So apparently if you had your original card replaced for any reason, the skyzone purchases would no longer work even though Carnival was charging the card. The problem seemed limited to skyzone because the card could be used everyplace else on the ship without any problems. On to the other stuff, the pools were great if you are a penguin or a polar bear, but for humans much too cold. Same goes for the water park, you would think Carnival would heat the water to at least 80 degrees to make it warmer and maybe the guests might actually enjoy using the pools and the park. But instead it seemed as though half of the passengers were huddled into the only 2 hot tubs at the back of the ship. While the pools remained mostly empty with an occasional brave soul enjoying a polar bear swim. Then there is the gestapo police watching over people at the pools, no not life guards but employees that are there to make sure nobody has any fun at the pools. No jumping, no running, no diving, what's next no swimming? Can we stand in the water or is that against the rules? Maybe we can walk on the water like Jesus, is that allowed Carnival? Bigger and warmer pool water is a must, same goes for the hot tubs. On to the internet, this is the biggest scam going on the ship. A bigger highway robbery than anything in the casino. They charge $100 per device, not per room. So if you have a family of 4 and you wanted decent internet service you would have to fork over $400. That was the fastest service they offer and it was still terrible. I suppose you could get the cheaper internet plan but considering the high speed version was like 3mbs I can only imagine how bad the lower speeds would be. I suppose if you wanted to check email and not much else then the lower speed plan would be fine. Internet = money grab, drinks = money grab, kids entertainment = money grab, photos = money grab. Photos? What century is this? Everyone has a professional camera in their pocket. Photos today cost nothing, I could understand these charges 30 years ago where film had to be developed. But today a picture printed out at Costco costs 19 cents. Anything else you want to charge for Carnival? Are pay toilets coming in the future? Speaking of toilets, the toilets in the rooms are definitely not made for Americans. I am not a particularly large person at 5'11 and 190lbs. I am considered average maybe even thin for an American and I had trouble sitting on those tiny toilets. I can only imagine the difficulty many of the larger passengers had. The water pressure in the showers could be improved. On to some good things, the lunch and breakfast buffets were excellent. The food was fresh and tasty. The dinners were excellent as well, there's nothing to complain about there. The service from the wait staff was top notch. There's tons of entertainment on the ship, casino if that's your thing. We didn't get a chance to see the comedy shows because of the kids. Having a movie theater in an outdoor setting is a nice touch. We would have definitely utilized it more but my kids are pretty spoiled and had seen all those films. Lounge and dining room music was nice. Bingo is not my cup of tea, but cash prizes are nice. The ship was smooth and not too bumpy, but I guess that largely depends on the ocean conditions. Another issue issue I had is the only place on the ship you can use cash is at the casino. I would prefer to have a cash option available at the bars and the paid food areas. One last gripe about money, the bars and most other areas automatically add gratuities on the check, ummm shouldn't tipping be at my discretion? I don't appreciate having that decision taken away from me. I don't know if other cruises do that, I'm assuming it's common in the industry, but I don't like it. Same goes for the gratuities for housekeeping and the wait staff just charged to my room one day before the cruise is over. Choose fun? More like choose money! News flash to Carnival and all other service oriented industries, TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY! Tipping is at the customers discretion, it is not my job to pay your employees a living wage or a minimum. A tip is provided for receiving excellent service. Figure out how to charge the appropriate prices for your tickets pay your employees enough money so they can live and leave the tipping out of it. I want to start saying we took this short cruise with family just to relax for a couple of days. We got on the cruise early around 2 pm. walking tours the buffet we noticed a sewer smell but we though it was the Port of Tampa waters. At the buffet to summarized the experience ended up eating a sandwich, this time we though food was snot good because it was port day and they had just gotten there that same morning, maybe....Well only to realize later that the food was not good everyday and the sewer smell never went away either. We had dinner at the restaurant with the family every night at 8:15 pm, that was not great food either but our waitress was so nice that really made our dinner enjoyable at least. The very first day when we went to our room after lunch we noticed it was hot and called someone to help me control the AC since it seem like it wasn't working for me. A lady came and after trying herself told me it was indeed not working and said she was letting the technician know to come and fix it and she offered me a little fan in the meantime. I'm glad I took the fan because I'm still waiting for the technician to go fix the AC.....To top it all, we had a king bed that in the middle of the night separated and we had a huge gap in the middle. We couldn't sleep all night fighting & trying to get out of the gap that seemed to hold us in it. We reported it in the morning and they came and "fixed" it. We had a better night that next night but again went back to the same issue the 3rd night and then after that no one went to fix it anymore although they alleged they did but we had the same gap in the middle every night after. As we all know, they give you a door key card which serves also as your charge card all over the cruise if you put a credit card on file with them which we did. Therefore we left our money in the safe as soon as we got on the cruise the very first day and never opened it again until the 2nd day at night around 6:45 pm that we went back to our room to start getting ready to go to our dinner at 8:15 pm just like the night before and every other night after that since we had dinner at the same time every day. That day as I said, we go back to our room and when we opened the door we hit the safe door with the room door because the safe was open....I immediately started counting the money in my husbands wallet and my purse. We were missing $60 from my purse. Obviously I went down to guest services and reported it. They called security and had to follow their protocol which took a couple of hours so we went to sleep that night about 1:45 am when we finished with them with their assurance that we would have a report and an answer the next day in the afternoon since that next day was going to be a port day at Cozumel. Very upset we went to bed and Cozumel in the morning. We obviously took our belongings from the safe with us this time. We got back in the ship from Cozumel about 4:30 Pm and went straight to the guest services to get the report. Well the report was that there are no cameras in the hallways of this cruise unlike others and that the only thing they could do was scan the lock to see if there was any "UNAUTHORIZED" entry to our room and that there was not....That's it..... Obviously we were very disappointed at the security but although decided we weren't going to let this ruin our relaxing time.....Got to the room to start getting ready for dinner like usual around 6:45 pm, went to dinner and got back to the room late as usual since we liked to watch the show at the theater and the last comedy comedy show also. Went back to sleep that night to the same no AC and gap in the middle of the two beds. That next morning we slept in since we have had a bad night due to the discomfort of all of the previously mentioned issues. My husband was taking his wallet again but we were wearing pool attire in case we wanted to swim so dumb me assured him t leave his wallet and my purse in the safe again. I said to him that i didn't think the thief knowing we made a report and all wasn't going to be stupid enough to get in our room again, so he opened the safe and put his wallet in there again. We left the room about 11:30 am to go eat breakfast again ended up eating a sandwich and headed to the pool deck to have some drinks with the family while our daughter and niece were playing in the slides area. Then we realized we didn't have our cards with us when we ordered a drink because my husband had all 3 cards in his wallet and he had left the wallet in the safe so he, our daughter and niece went down to guest services and they sent someone to open the door for them. He got in the room, opened the safe got the cards out and put the wallet back in the safe and made sure the lock door was closed, so did my 12 yr old daughter and my 10 yr old nice obviously because of the experience we've had already. They went back to us at the pool deck. We stayed out again until abut 6:30-6:45 that we went back as usual to start getting ready for dinner. We open the room door and again.......room door hits the safe door because it was open one more time!!!!!!! In disbelieve I immediately started counting the money in purse and my husbands wallet and $40 were missing but from my husbands wallet this time. Obviously very frustrated and mad called them and someone came again and offered us to go through the same hours long reporting of the incident how they call it to what I refused telling them I was not going to miss dinner with my family again and wait anymore of my time again on that when they didn't do anything but give me excuses the first time. I told me that for me it was not the $100, the most concern was the poor security they offered their guests that was a shame and the fat that they weren't doing anything bu excusing themselves over and over instead of giving us the guests legit answer and solution. Of course very, beyond mad and frustrated we went to dinner trying to not let this second incident ruin the rest of our day since we were getting home in the morning but unfortunately we couldn't get over it and right after dinner decided to go back to the cabin for the night hoping for the morning to leave that cruise. This was an unusual time for us to be back at the room since we had been coming to sleep very late every day except for that day. Now was about 9:15 pm and we are in the room my daughter got in the bathroom to change and my husband and I are laying in bed not saying a word just waiting there for our daughter to come out for us to change and go to bed when someone knocked on the door and I answer coming while my husband was headed to pen thinking in was our family. When he opens the door, the housekeeper was a couple of steps from our door pretending to be cleaning the wall with a rag, my husband asked him if he knocked our door and he said no, so my husband asked him then did you see who did and he said he did not see anybody knocking yet he is a couple of steps from our door. My husband closes the door and our daughter came out of the bathroom asking if it was her cousin looking for her because she had heard someone knocking......With that being said, you can tell we had a horrible experience with this people i this cruise. We are all very disappointed at everything but specially the security. How come someone that has access to your room like the cleaning people go into your room and your safe like nothing and they just turn around saying that unfortunately they don't have cameras in the hallways and that there was no "unauthorized" entry in our room. People be aware. I've seen many videos online after this experience of how easy it is for thieves to open this safes in cruises and hotel rooms. I felt the need to exposed my experience with them because I don't want anybody else to have to go through what we did on their vacation time. Read Less

We chose this cruise because we cruise with carnival in the past and really enjoyed the experience we’ve had. We knew that this was going to be the inaugural cruise for the panorama and we’re super excited to get on board with a balcony room. Our experience all started off with our luggage being delivered and having a Broken shoulder strap caused by the luggage delivery service that carnival provides. While in route to Ensenada our first evening we had gone to sleep only to be awoken around 3:15 in the morning to water dumping into our room and onto our bed while we were sleeping. We called maintenance and they promptly moved us within the next 30 to 45 minutes to another balcony room. The on-duty supervisor said they would call us the next morning with some sort of compensation for the trouble we had gone through between the water dumping into our room and my back being delivered in a broken condition. They never called us and I actually had to go down the next morning and engage the contact only to have them give us a $50 meal coupon to bonsai sushi for the negative experience that we had. We gratefully excepted the meal coupon but also welcomed something more than just a meal coupon. Fast forward to later that evening where we went to check in for our anytime dining. We had a check in time for our meal at 5:45 PM we waited in line at the front of the dining hall for over 30 minutes and what seem to be absolute pandemonium trying to get into the dining area with people shoving to get to the front of the line. By the time we gpt seated, it took an additional 20 to 30 minutes to have anyone even acknowledge us at the small table at the furthest most rear part of the ship. After some water and bread we decided to just go back to the room and order room service which turned out to be a big mistake. Later that evening and into the early morning hours after consuming a Caesar salad in what looked like more of a soup, my wife started experiencing stomach pains which was followed by dry heaving and vomiting. For the next two days and last two days of the cruise my wife was stuck in the cabin in bed with what appeared to be a fever and flu like symptoms. She could barely get up on her own accord and was only able to get out for about an hour on the second day then right back to bed. When I made the infirmary aware of what was going on they told me to give her some aspirin which they charged me for. I’m not complaining about the ship but our experience was absolutely terrible. Carnival had every opportunity to make it right and they’ve only offered us $100 per person to use towards our next onboard credit. I am quite frankly disgusted with the lack of customer service we received or empathy for that matter and more than likely will not be cruising with carnival ever again. Read Less

My Husband and I went on this cruise to go to Grand Turks and Amber Cove DR. From jump bad experience cause in the flyers they put out they said laundry is across from room U154. Well for 2 and a half days people was knocking on our door asking for Laundry. Dilma at guest services did all she could but was only able to give us Chocolate Strawberries and a bottle of Champagne. We wanted to move rooms, but none was available. So every night approximately 20 to 50 people outside our room talking loudly. Well it didn't help the boat was rocking back and forth very badly everyday on the sea. We did make it to both ports, but my husband got sick on Amber Cove and we didn't get off the ship. He was still sick the next day, but felt a little better thanks to dramamine. Then coming out of Amber Cove the motor broke down and we was going 6miles per hour for about 4 hours and then it was back to rocking back and forth. Sick again. Then we was supposed to debark at 8:30 that changed to 9:30 then 10 then we finally got to disembark at 11:30. Mind you people had flights to catch, but was Late, We drove from Alabama so we have to drive back and Carnival doesn't care. The staff was great. But nothing else was Great. Never again!!! Read Less

We chose this cruise for a family event. It was terrible. They need to take time and just repair this old ship. Give it a break, it seems like money is outweighing safety!! There seems to be little empathy for them delaying you, this boat is super rocky, no peace and quite. You can't get good rest because the ship is so rocky. You pay for a 5 day cruise to be rocked for 3!!! The ocean view cabin is a joke, the windows on the outside are so dirty you can't see a thing ( barely). They don't care, they let you off and board the next group it's like Wal-Mart!! This cruise was the absolute worse!!! They are understaffed and it shows. Some of the attitudes are rude, it's like they got their money so who cares. Any concerns you may have they just brush it off like yeah yeah just get through your 5 days we have another group coming. I don't see them taking pride in this ship nor their customers. It's just about the money. Well that's not business minded. You might always keep this ship booked to capacity but the question will start to rise with what type of crowd? This ship had a bad engine in September, constantly having mechanical issues, here we are in December still having rocking issues, and mechanical issues. You don't think it's time to skip a sail or two, give your staff a break and fix this ship?? Quality over quantity!! Safety first ?? Or you just about the money, offering 200.00 per person that had to change flights, then got the nerve to want the proof submitted back causing another Delay. You don't need proof you was delayed !!! Your not covering difference in people's fares!! Take time to fix this ship, or change the name to HELL at SEA. Or Carnival Rock A Lot Read Less

We wanted to do something special for birthdays in the family, two of them in December during the cruise. We headed to Hawaii but might as well have flown. 4 sea days there and back were horrible. The second we stepped on deck, we smelled cigarette smoke, as smoking is permitted on Deck 2, indoors. There is really no way around it if you want to go to the casino, trivia events, or get on or off the ship. When we went to our stateroom, we found the toilet smelled disgusting, as it had not been cleaned because of the short turnover time between the last cruise and ours. They scrubbed it the next day and it was okay. The housekeepers are over worked, so they also get into such a routine they don’t check for when you run low on toilet paper or shampoo. We learned the Carnival Fun Hub app was also disappointing. We paid $5 per person for a chat feature that rarely worked. The app crashes more often than it works. Most importantly, we were told we would reach Oahu, Maui, Kona, and Hilo at given times. However, the organization was horrible. We left the ship 2 hours late each day, except for the last. We needed to leave the ship using tenders at Kona, but no one announced that we needed to obtain tickets to get off the ship or where to get them. A couple had their excursions cancelled because they couldn’t get off the ship on time even when prioritized. They weren’t allowed off the ship early, but had to take a ticket and wait, but they were not told this; they heard it from a fellow passenger. The Bacchus dining room is poorly lit and garish, it is filled with a theme of round purple lights and grape leaves everywhere. The gym is located in the front of the ship on Deck 9, one of the bumpiest places on the ship. Everyone on the treadmills was walking slowly or running while holding on. Being on a stationary bike was like biking while drunk. The entertainment on board was over much yet not enough. Every sea day, there were “wellness seminars,” trivia, games, lectures about Hawaii, or bands playing. There were different shows at night. They paid attention to the fun aspect much more than other aspects. The Carnival Miracle also has Park West Gallery on board, advertising marked up prices for so-so artists and their “hand embellished” art. These are printed paintings with dabs of paint added to them. Read Less

My husband chose this Cruise because these were places that we've never cruised to before. This was also a Carnival ship that we had not been on before. It was literally a mess from the first day to the last day! We were so disappointed that we thought we deserved a refund! I would not recommend this Ship or trip to anyone! We have cruised with Carnival several times and have never has this experience! It makes us want to Cruise with other ships from now on! This was my husband's Birthday Cruise and he did not have a good time at all! Even on his Birthday!! We spent the entire Cruise in the Casino, they were the only people making sure that we had a great time. All though we are Premiere Club Cruisers we didn't feel like we got any special treatment on this ship. There was no Adult entertainment like really good shows! The food was very horrible, the service was poor, the Ship is dated and needs a complete make over. They worked on the Water slide the entire time we were there so one ever got a chance to use it! This just was not a good experience at all. We flew in from Dallas, TX to Miami to take this Cruise and when you go through all of that traveling to Cruise, you deserve the Royal treatment! Read Less

First off I mean absolutely no disrespect to the service staff, our room steward and wait staff were fantastic. However, I’m thoroughly disappointed!!! The ship was in an overall state of rundown disrepair. Generators failed mid ship causing power outages and mild hysteria. 2 days in to our trip we noticed my fiancé was covered in bites after sleeping in our balcony room. The steward immediately changed all the linens. By the end of the week I was completely covered in bites as well. The staff midweek had a “insect audit” done which apparently wasn’t very thorough. On a separate note more then one occasion our food was sent back undercooked or overcooked, in some cases the wait staff noticed it and didn’t even bring the food out we ordered because they knew it was wrong. As for the “premium” WiFi services and “HUB” app, worthless do t waste $25 a day on this. I couldn’t even pay a credit Card bill from my phone, the app was continuously down, during power outages on the ship the paid WiFi service didn’t work at all, I’ve been on numerous carnival cruises and after this one I’m left feeling extremely dissatisfied with the cost and outcome. And by all means if u opt to purchase sea food the earlier in the trip the better. 6 days in we attempted to order lobster and crab legs and upon confronting the staff about the smell and appearance of the seafood we were told it was a week old and dead but it’s ok it was in ice all week Read Less

We went on this Cruise because it was the itinerary we wanted for the Panama canal but we will never go on carnival again! We will be sticking to Royal Caribbean. The shore excursions were great but pretty much anything having to do with onboard sucked! The shows were so loud I couldn't stay for any of them, the food was not good, I ordered breakfast to my room every morning with extra cereal so I could eat that for different meals throughout the day, I alternated between that and two different sandwiches from the sandwich shop on the two-week Cruise, when room service brought breakfast the milk & juice were in glasses that almost every day were not covered!! The ship was dirty!! They didn't have people wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when you went in to the dining rooms or the buffet,3 of the 4 people in my group ended the cruise being sick. I ended up Leaving the cruise with bronchitis and bed bugs!! I wish I could send them my Terminix bill!! Read Less

the ship needs sinking! Every cruise I have been on before you enter the restaurant your hands are sanitised -not on the Glory even if you wanted to the self-service sanitisers were empty. Te crew were very unhelpful and didn't know how to smile. The cruise director Cookie was really annoying. The self service restaurant on the lido deck was always tepid. The desserts was very poor -mostly cakes or frozen fruit. the small closet was pathetic and very few drawers so had to live out of our suitcases. There was no-where to store our cases and so we had to step round them every day. The stewards didn't clean well. In fact I lost an earring in my cabin which was found by me behind the bin 3 days later! No walk in showers only a step into bath with a flimsy curtain round it. the public toilets were few and far between and to get to one of the restaurants you had to go either up two decks or down 2 to avoid the kitchens. There were no shows in the theatre only singers to took their turn either in the theatre, in the auditorium or in one of the bars. One of the singers couldn't pronounce the letter 's' but insisted of singing loads of songs with the main works having an 's' in it. It was quite amusing - especially as he sang in the auditorium may times. Read Less

This is the worse experiense ever. So many issues. The rooms do not have ventilation. So many lint fibers and dust are flying in the room. Imagine the rooms have not been ventilated for 4 years but everyday changing of bedings and releasning dust and lint. I asked for airpurifier they did not have it. It causs allergy, sneezing and coughing all the time. They charged me for spa for 2 persons,me and my daughter, and then they said my daughter can´t use it because she is not 18. I have attached some photos to show that during booking it does not say it is 18 plus no where. They refused to refund. The internet does not let you to make whatsapp calls. Even if you pay extra. I told them the issue and they said it is my whatsapp problem and my contact list. The room is much smaller than it is supposed to be. You can't walk in it. They told me go and measure it!I said does any body come to see if I am right while I am mesuring?they said NO. They refused to change my cabin although they had empty ones. Towels were stained, the first night I saw a big yellow spot on my bed seems that somebody had pee on it. I called them to change it. Some crew members are very rude and not helpful at all. I will update my review because there are a lot to share but i do not have space. Actually their internet does not let me toupload photos. I will do it as soon as I got off. Read Less

This cruise was offered to us through the Players Club as an Elite package. We took the same cruise back in April as an Ultra package and enjoyed it. This was completely different. We were told this was the best of the best and reserved for a select few. The trip started off bad since the car service was 45 mins late to pick us up as we waited in the Miami sun. Priority boarding was nice even though we were yelled at to keep moving when we got confused about where to go... We met at the Casino and were told our drink package wasn't valid, so we paid for our first few rounds of drinks until one of the Casino host explained to the bartenders. We thought something on the ship was broken as bad as it shook the first half of the trip. We barely slept as everything in our cabin rattled together every few mins. Our TV only received half the channels and we had to have a technician visit twice in order to get a movie to play while trying to relax in our room. The Casino hosts did their best to make up for all of these failures with a couple comped massages and free dinners, but it didn't make up for all of our issues. After spending $40k+ all we won upon departing was a direct visit to Customs where they proceeded to check every bag, article of clothing and brought in a K-9 unit before letting us leave. I did receive an apologetic call from Customer Relations about our experience even though she made it very clear that the Casino is completely separate from Carnival, she made the extraordinary gesture of giving us each $100 credit for the next cruise. If this was the best of the best, we won't be back. Read Less

We went on this ship on Thanksgiving. Good: Playlist Performers, Comedy shows Bad: As you can see only two really good things. Buffet: Food tended to be cold. I even went to the buffet on purpose when they first opened for lunch one day to see if it was just me, but no it was cold again. Person making omelettes made one incorrect and when he made the eggs over easy did not let them cook all the way so there was clear liquid still showing. Pizza was okay but looks like Carnival is cutting back on toppings. Deli I wish they would go back to the presses, rather than the machine they are using as the bread tends to come out hard. Burritos had more lettuce than other fillings, again another cutback. Seaday Brunch, went once and the Eggs Benedict were cold and filet was tough, so not a filet. Did not go back. Dining Room. Worst service we have ever had. Could not even tell you the waiter's name. We had to ask for more water, ice tea, never offered coffee or tea with dessert. In the past once we sat down they would have what ever we ordered for a drink the previous day.there, plus tea or coffee would be offered. They did not know our names. One night we were still eating the main course and they were bringing dessert menus. That is why we select late dining to avoid the rush. Food was on the cold side again. Pork loin, steak, mahi mahi, chicken, and Thanksgiving Turkey was like eating turkey from the deli, salmon served with the skin up. Nuts in the stuffing, even though it did not say that. Appetizers not fully described. One night asked for mashed potatoes and they said did not have any, even though it was offered with another meal. A girl at our table asked for french fries and the waiter said we do not offer them, yet they were offered for another meal. Very poor experience in the dining room. Buffet servers tended to be on the rude side. Breakfast in Dining Room: Ordered omelettes and they came out totally wrong. No one ever came over and asked how anything was. Room Service: Ordered once and they forgot an item, yet they called us and said we can bring it now. We did not want to be bothered again. Stateroom: The coldest we have ever had and the only way to control it was to shut the fan off in the ceiling. We pulled the extra duvet out of the closest and it was stained. Gross! The steward brought us two blankets. The room remained on the cold side and one day, even though we shut the fan down, came back to the fan being opened. Freezing again. What is with the urine spell in the bathrooms? I asked a couple other people and they said the same thing. Every morning we got woken up between 6-615am with them running down the hallway with a laundry basket. I even got out of bed to see them running down the hall. Another morning at 518am, there was an announcement and it scared us to death. Why is the king bed pushed up against the wall and the sheets put in so tight you have to move the bed. I realize this is an older ship, but really?? Tour: We took the Progresso tour and while good, it tended to be rushed. Then the last stop they get people to try and buy tequila. When walking back to the ship there was a group of people dressed like Mayans on the pier and when we said no, as we walked by he called my wife a b***h. I realize they are not Carnival people, but they should be respectful. Maybe newbies would not be aware of these things, but as gold members we try to be loyal to Carnival, but it might be time to try another cruise line. We never remove tips once we pre-paid them as we know it goes to all the workers. We usually tip extra, but not on this cruise as it seemed like they did not care. Maybe this is a training ship, well they need better training. Read Less

Long line here too. But wait, they have chicken nuggets, french fries and pizza by ordering room service but you must pay for these items. Plus you'll have to wait on the phone and for it to be delivered. TABLE SERVICE: people in Lido did not p/u dishes, they waited till your done Dining room; four of us eating brunch. My wife's food came after we 3 were done. She had to eat alone. Kids menu had mac and cheese but it was to fancy for kids. Swimming pools: baby and toddlers in diapers not swim wear. I chose to cruise with family who needed a quick cruise out of Miami. So, we set sail on Carnival Victory’s 4-day excursion to The Bahamas. I stayed in room 8331. The Cabin. The inside of the cabin was nice looking and updated. The bathroom was clean and functioned well, although my family next door and the next few cabins had sewer backup problems. There was a lot of storage. I tipped the room steward an extra $50 cash and he cleaned the room every time I stepped out! Awesome! And, I had a mattress topper put on the bed for extra old-bone comfort. Good call! That was a heavenly bed. On the negative side .... the room is right under the Rum Bar and Lido deck. There was unbelievable noise (chairs scraping the floor, music, yelling) all day and night. There was also a constant foul smell out on the balcony. It never went away and it was overwhelming! It was like a mixture of raw sewage, vomit and paint thinner. The view from the balcony is impeded by the rail on the balcony. It is right at eye level when you are sitting. Electrical outlets include two 110 outlets on the wall opposite the bed. There are two USB outlets on the wall opposite the bed. The Food. Overall the food was bad. The hot food in the dining room was luke warm at best. Meats were very dry from sitting under warming lamps so long; portion sizes were tiny; most of the food was over-salted. But the service was great. It amazes me how the staff remember your names. The Mediterranean buffet was the same except you had other guests’ unwashed hands touching food, serving spoons and tongs. The best food was From the seafood grill on aft deck nine. I had king crab legs and they were worth the extra cost ($17/pound). The taco bar was good sans the unwashed hands-thing and the same for Guy’s burger joint. Guy’s burgers were very greasy, so make sure your stomach can tolerate that on a rocking ship. The hot tubs. The water is not hot. It is slightly warm. There are 5-6 stairs going to the tubs on aft 9 and they are very slippery when wet. I took a nasty fall! Be careful. The bars. Great drinks and creative bartenders. The ship. The Victory needs an overhaul. Period. It smells; it is dark and dingy in the interior public areas; it is dirty. There a very few hand sanitizer stations and no public hand washing areas. This ship is begging for a viral sweep. The public restrooms outside the main dining room have toilet cubicles so small you will be climbing over the nasty toilet to close the stall door. Guest services is understaffed. There are public laundry rooms that are very useful. I will also address the cruisers themselves here. This is a ship making short hauls for a relatively cheap cost. It attracts some unmannered, loud and cheap customers. It is pitiful for customers to show up at the formal night dinner in shorts and sleeveless tanks, but they do. It is just plain wrong for the cruise line to allow it. What I wish Carnival would do. Enforce a dress code on formal night. Place more trash cans and dirty dish trays around the ship so tidying up is easier. Place ‘Quiet’ signs in the cabin hallways to remind guests that others may be sleeping and they should be quiet in the cabin halls. Cut back on salt! Bloat happen! Monitor hand washing/sanitizing upon entering the buffet lines. This so dangerous! My recommendations to cruisers. Before your cruise, leave instructions for your room to have a fan (noise control!) and an eggcrate/mattress topper. Give your room steward a nice extra cash tip — this person will make a big difference in your comfort level. If you are a medium to light sleeper, don’t book a cabin under large public areas. Collapsible luggage is easier to stow under the bed. Bring baby powder to get the Bahama sand off your feet. Pack a small amount of laundry detergent, some ziplock or waterproof bags and some magnetic clips to hang your daily schedules. Bring a card, any card, that is the size of a credit card to put in the room light switch. Read Less

The splendour has been in Singapore for a re fit. Apparently millions spent on it.would like to know where. Tiniest room we have ever had on a cruise 7416. cannot pass each other. if your in your wardrobe beware of toilet door knocking you out. we have come from NZ to join her for the repositioning to Sydney. Well got off 1 1/2 hours late but that was ok rooms were ready cases there by the time we were Then the drill. well that was a shambles standing in 32deg. No air Con. or fans. staff forgot there life jackets for demo. more delay one lady said she was going to faint and was told to faint in the corner. Very badly organised. Our 5.30 Dinner late due to delay but told to go away till 8.15 as we had missed our time. Pointed out ship was being fuelled and we couldn't come at our time. Food good but not the amazing we have come to expect on cruises. Evening comic was funny. Beds really comfy. Breakfast not particularly good. Tea coffee in one area hot water which ran out also milk in another area. Cold toast cold poached eggs. Croissant also cold. Would of been nice warm. BBQ was good lunch time. Adult area completely full if you want a seat get there early. Usual daytime activities although nothing much to interest anyone. times overlap so you may miss one because your doing something else. That's if you can find something to do. Island night well just a few bothered to dress up. Matri D apologised first night and promised it would get better well sorry second night think the chef had already had enough. First night 4 deep fried prawns nice sauce starter. and lovely salmon fillet broccoli, creamy mash. Second night two prawns nasty sauce. Salmon still good but lumpy tiny amount of mash with one soggy piece of broccoli. I've always maintained if your bored on a cruise there's something wrong with you. Have to take that back on this one so far entertainment second class. Food less than good. Lots of people unhappy and that's not because there ozzys. It's because they have been on other cruises and like us this so called refurbished ship is not proving to be anything memorable other than what's broken down today. In fact today we can't use the pools as too much chlorine in them. Lots of people saying they would not book another cruise on this boat. Most of the staff are really lovely and helpful. But there are a lot that don't give a dam. people are saying they are just being ignored or fobbed off when they are asking for anything. Hard to have left a 3*hotel that we stayed in for a week prior where nothing was too much trouble. Bathrooms supplied everything you could need. Shavers combs. toothbrush. shower cap. Body lotion. Seems like unless you are paying extra you don't get anything special. The shower gel and shampoo that are in the shower dispensers leave a lot to be desired. So bring your own. I'm sure the captain is a lovely man who speaks to us all daily only problem is no one knows what he's saying. Well it's only our second full day let's hope it gets better as the staff get to know each other and at least we know this is one ship we won't be booking on again!! First elegant night this is what cruising is all about to me. Being able to dress up feel special. There are enough reminders about dress code so why are they allowing scruffy T shirts shorts and jandles in the gold pearl. Go eat at the gallery if you want to dress like that. First port Benoa. Bali. Unfortunately tenders can't go as sea too rough fair enough safety comes first but several hundred people being told to stay in the theater and wait. why the hell don't they put some entertainment on. I've complained so they going to put sound on the tvs!!! Don't think we will get off till late might get a couple of hours on Bali. Couple we talking to said this is their 26th cruise and the worst they have ever been on. Lady said first time she has ever left a restaurant still hungry. I know what she means. My pastry was soo burnt on my apple pie it was charcoal. Think they need a new pastry chef. The longest island stop at kamodo island and unless you had a trip booked you were not allowed off the ship. Did they make it a fun day for all of us stuck on here. Like hell. I have not spoken to one person who will ever travel on this ship again or who is happy. Yeah I've found ONE person who is happy only because their room was soo noisy that after nearly a week they have upgraded them to a balcony room. What a shame that people are just looking forward to getting off. Things have definitely improved as time has gone on, or are we just making the most of it. The shows are still mediocre but there has been a couple of good ones. The Ariel show was amazing. Seems to be a little more to do in the day but not a lot. Lee is a very good cruise director and wasted on this ship. Glad to say we have finally had some get togethers where everyone is singing dancing and having fun thanks to Lee. Food is more or less served hot now. And the staff are amazing putting on entertainment as we eat every night thanks to the dedicated Matri D. I'll finish this on our last day with. I'm not an ozzy bogan and neither is 90% of the Australian passengers on board. Even though they are treated like they are. they are well travelled cruisers, although seems like this ship treats them like they will put up with anything. neither am I a put up with anything kiwi even though I live there. I'm a Stiff upper lip Brit.but even I have resorted to saying. You couldn't organise a p. up in a brewery Carnival Splendour. And I'm not looking for a free or discounted trip or even a refund of any sort. Just giving an honest opinion and will watch who I book my next cruise with. Because I'm pretty sure it won't be the Splendour. Read Less

This was a repositioning cruise from Singapore to Sydney, which hubby and I chose, to relax and refresh before the Christmas mayhem. First, the good points: our cabin stewards, and the rest of the waiters etc were fabulous. The food was also of good quality and lots of variety. However, it was all mainly downhill from there, with the embarkation process giving us an indication of what was to come. It took hours and passengers were forced into a "conga line" throughout the ship - with our carry-on bags - so that staff could take our passports. Surely there was a better way? I heard a few people behind me complaining that they had paid extra money for something called "faster to the fun" and what was the point? The lifeboat drill was a shemozzle as were later, boarding procedures for the tenders. The cabin was a good size, but only had one power point. Also the ship is poorly-designed with inaccessible areas in the middle of several decks, so that to reach certain points (eg one of the restaurants) passengers need to go up two floors, cross the length of the ship and down two floors. Passengers were not given a map of the ship on embarkation and the diagrams near the lifts only showed one inaccessible area - which was the galley. There is no promenade deck. What is euphemistically called the promenade deck is an internal walkway from the shops, through the poker machines, towards the coffee shop. Unlike other ships (P and O in Australia and UK, Princess, Cunard) there were no quiet nooks to relax. Inescapable, loud pop music permeated the entire ship, and from bulkhead to bulkhead it was overrun with uncontrollable children. Apart from the usual running and screaming along corridors and up and down the stairs, we saw children standing on tables, jumping up and down on furniture and in the buffet helping themselves and coughing and sneezing on food. Because of children's' smaller height the protective screens in the buffet were useless in shielding the food. Which leads to the total lack of of hygiene... Not once did we see anyone enforcing hand washing, sanitizing etc. We did, however, see passengers put their hands in the prune dish to remove a prune or two because the fruit was stuck together; one women lifted a bowl of sliced peaches to pour juice over her cereal and in the process her fingers touched the food; everyone who filled their water bottles from the water station did so directly without using a separate glass or cup. It is not surprising that within a day or two lots of people on the ship were coughing. It was so rife that it became a subject of laughter for the on-board comedians, but it is not really funny. Passengers failed to take even basic hygiene procedures, such as covering their mouths when coughing and sneezing. Both hubby and I have very bad colds, which a week after disembarkation we have not managed to shake. There are other matters too - lack of enforcement of dress code - people going into dining room for dinner on an "elegant" night in shorts, T shirts and thongs (?). Hit and miss entertainment, and the choice of ports, which apart from Darwin, all required a tender. The ship needs some serious maintenance - laundries out of order until halfway through the cruise, more than half the lifts always out of order, TV in room rarely worked (we wanted news on bushfires)... hot water machines on the Lido deck to make tea and coffee, regularly broke down. Overall, I got the impression that the accountants have been let loose. Very little to do with passenger health and comfort and all about squeezing passengers as cash cows. The ship seemed crowded with insufficient wait staff. On other cruise ships, for example, there were plenty of drink waiters, but not on this ship. Summary - if you have young kids, like eating and drinking and letting the kids loose, go for it - this is is your kind of cruise. If you are looking for a holiday to chill out, avoid this "fun" cruise, as it is anything but. Read Less

Cleanliness was non-existent on Splendor. Staff wiped tables with passengers' used napkins in both buffet & dining room...UGH!!!! Hand sanitisers were not enforced on board - half were empty anyway. Staff should have been present to watch that passengers used sanitiser to keep ship "germfree". Children joined into groups/gangs after the first few days to regularly run riot late evenings - where were the security staff? These groups were abusing passengers trying to enjoy a late coffee/hot chocolate who requested the bad behaviour stopped, usually late at night in buffet (putting salt and pepper in each other's hair; throwing ice on floor, running through area yelling & swearing, holding the ice cream levers down so product flowed to the floor, etc. etc. Returning at 11.45pm on first formal night to find our cabin door open/unlocked - definitely not impressed. Finding little girl about 4 yrs of age sitting on tiles outside casino at nearly midnight whilst mum was "in there". Surely with all the cameras on board that little girl could have been attended to & mum found in the casino. Purchased Guess handbag, told would definitely not be on sale that cruise & if it did then price difference would be refunded. Next morning Cruise Director announced 20% off Guess handbags. Wow. I approached sales assistant, then shop manager only to be told not a "sale" but an "event" & handbag was same price as event was "20% off recommended US price online". I told her it was "Bullswool" and she could call it anything she liked but it was a "rort" and Australian passengers would soon recognise it as such. I complained re this rort to Guest Service Manager, Jeff, who said he would discuss with the shop manager, he later told me he had & asked if manager had contacted me - NO, but there again I didn't expect she would! I am absolutely furious at being treated this way. Read Less

I had sailed on the Splendor in 2013 from Santiago to Buenos Aires. It was wonderful. When I heard that the Splendor was being repositioned from Singapore to Sydney, I was really looking forward cruise. The cruise had to be booked through the Australian department but that meant finding the 800 number. But it was a disaster from start to finish. Carnival has two departments - the US and the Australian departments. The repositioning cruise started in Los Angeles. Once it left Hawaii, it became part of the Australian department. What this meant was that this cruise was no longer on the US Carnival web site. The travel agent said the cruise did not exist so I spent half a day finding the Carnival Australian department and how to book the cruise. The department is based in Denver and the computers in Denver do not talk to the Miami computers. The fare was paid in Australian dollars on a .au web site. The cabin and dining room staff were very good. The rooms were always made up well. We enjoyed the towel animals...yes I know they are an environmental disaster but they helped to cheer us up after another chaotic day on the ship. The carnival app crashed all the time. The IT guy said that was how it was. One apple user could not get it to run at all. You can only book Shore excursions onboard. No online pre-booking is allowed. The worst part of the booking process was that you cannot pre-book shore excursions. Initially I was told that this was a government requirement. That of course was a lie. It meant that I had to run to ShoreEx as soon as we were onboard. I then found out that my credit card may not be linked to my ship card and if this was the case, I could not book the cruise. So I stood in the Guest Services line - the self serve machine was broken - while my partner stood in the ShoreEx line. The photo shows this chaos. I then had more grief with getting the Internet set up until I found a sympathetic staffer who sorted out my card and my internet. I was lucky to be lined up for only an hour. I assumed that this is what Australians tolerated. It turns out that they were as upset about this stupidity as I was. The ship was in dry dock in Singapore for a month to get ready for the voyage. But the chaos continued. Here is a list of the state of the ship. -There was no cruising sign (I made my own). -The safe failed twice and had to be replaced. -The shower held up with masking tape. -The bedside light had to be rewired -The juice machines failed. -The coffee machines failed. -The hot tubs were closed and the waterslide was closed, each for couple of days. -There were 4 elevators down at any one time. -I got mystery phone calls from guest services in the middle of the night. -The TV did not work until the middle of the cruise. -The washing machines were down. -The safety briefing so screwed up we never learned how to put on a lifejacket. There were many other problems described by other guests but I have only listed the problems I experienced first hand. Five of the six shore excursions required tenders. Every tender was a nightmare due to the captain's lack of skill in maneuvering the ship. On the first tender, he fussed for two hours trying to get stable water so passengers could board the tender. He finally figured out that if he turned the ship so it acted as a breakwater on the starboard side and then tendered on the port side, it would work. We were three hours late for our private tour of Bali. To add insult to injury, another couple deliberately took our car and driver and we had to wait another hour for the driver to bring our car back to the terminal. Our six hour tour lasted 90 minutes. Every other tender had similar problems as the captain could not figure out how to position the boat (in very minor swells) to expedite the tender process. I sail on Carnival for the food. On this cruise the food was mediocre. I had salmon 13 of the 15 nights as there was nothing worth eating. My partner had many disappointing meals. The food highlight was the Masala Tiger. It was a curry lunch buffet. It was one of the reasons I picked the cruise and I was not disappointed. The Guy Fieri burgers were good but the buns were sweet. I had to go to deli to get pretzel bun for my burger. The popcorn had no butter so I had to melt butter with hot water. There were nine sea days. There were few dance classes. There was only one port talk. There was no zumba nor exercise classes. They took away the bathrobes. Thank god the internet worked well so I could spend most sea days in my cabin doing work while onboard. It will be awhile before I would consider Carnival again. If the Australian Rules on no pre-booking shore excursions are enforced on US cruises, Carnival and I will part company. Read Less

We like repositioning cruises. We liked previous Carnival cruises. We had even been on this ship before and enjoyed it. This cruise was chaos from the time we tried to book until we got off - the only thing that went smoothly was disembarkation. Getting on the ship in Singapore was difficult and unnecessarily complex. We hadn't been allowed by Carnival Australia to prebook shore excursions so we had mostly booked private tours ahead of time but for 2 stops, we needed to book shore excursions after we got on board - this took hours and hours with the line up curling all around the deck where people were getting on and staff who couldn't answer any questions running around in vests that said "ask me". It was downhill from there. There were so many thing wrong with our cabin - shower, bedside light, safe and TV not working - it was horrible. Fortunately our cabin staff were lovely and very helpful. The safety exercise before we sailed was a joke - 4 muster stations for 3,500 people. We were all standing on each others feet as people were squashed in in front of us. Lots of people never got to the correct muster stations due to some problem with the I-Pad checking system. We never did see how to put on a life jacket because the staff at our muster station couldn't find one to demonstrate with. Then there was more chaos getting back to our cabins. The food, which has always been a winner on Carnival was HORRIBLE - tough steaks, items that didn't match their description. The only thing that saved us was the Tamil Tiger, the lunch time curry restaurant but even that didn't manage to get the naan oven working for the whole cruise. Getting to and from dinner was a nightmare because at least one elevator was non-functional in each set of elevators. There were no cloths on the dinner tables, no choice of tea after dinner. One of the coffee machines wasn't working for the whole trip and we were drinking coffee out of a plastic box. There was no herbal tea anywhere on the ship. The tendering process which was necessary at almost every port was the biggest problem of all. It took so long to park the ship so that the tender boats could get us to shore that we missed 2/3 of our shore excursion and barely got out of Denpasur. The crew didn't seem to learn from this as we went through the same chaos everywhere we had to tender to shore. All the things we liked about Carnival cruises were no longer available - no exercise classes, no real dance classes, no talks about future cruises, no talks about the ports we were going to visit. The pools and hot tubs were closed for a couple of days because they screwed up the chlorine amounts. It all just went from bad to worse. By the end of the cruise, we had run out of paper on which to list our complaints. We were Gold VIFP members before this cruise but it is very unlikely that we will eve do a Carnival cruise again. We would want written confirmation that all of these negative changes and bad management are peculiar to Carnival Australia and that the North American operation is still delivering the level of service we are used to.
