Carnival Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Three hotels and a hurricane

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Horizon

Port of Miami would not let passengers board the ship on our sail date. Totally NOT Carnival’s fault. Carnival wants nothing more than their ship sailing the full length of time and packed with passengers. We stayed a total of five nights in Miami at three different hotels. We got in on Friday and expected to sail Sunday. Long story short, we got on the ship on Wednesday. I LOVED the look of this ...

We choose this cruise to go with another couple that this was their first cruise. The ship was looking good inside and out after the dry dock. We had an ocean suite on the 7th floor. Room was nice, lots of room and storage. We were a bit surprised that the suite did not have a bathtub as the suites do on the bigger ships. Still had a nice big shower, but the wife really like a tub to soak in. ...

Hurricane Dorian Cruise

First time and we wanted to go to Jamaica, Grand Caymon, and Cozumel. Trip was diverted to the Bahamas due to Dorian, but Cookie, the cruise director, made the trip. He was witty, funny, and brought great energy to every event. We are still quoting him days after the trip and always looked forward to his announcements. If we book again, we will actually try to book one with him. The ...

My daughter and son-in-law did a Carnival Cruise for their honeymoon two years ago in October and loved it so much they wanted us to join them on a Carnival Cruise. Hurricane Darian caused us to have to leave a day early but we had already planned to arrive in Tampa that day and spend the night, so we just drove from NC as planned and boarded with absolutely no problems despite only having birth ...

Excellent service, excellent food, everything was wonderful! Camp Ocean has an awesome staff, our grandson is 9 and did not want to leave. We received a post card delivered to our cabin from the staff saying how nice it was to have him attend along with some of the activities he did. Very caring staff. Cabin Steward Adrian was exceptional! Room was perfect-always had ice. Was very prompt ...

the trip started out badly when we got a notification that our credit card was hit for $200 by Carnival before we even left on the trip. What! Called and told this was 'normal'. Requested a handicap cabin for spouse, It was a standard cabin with a normal shower stall but had a pull down seat. Had to take handles off scooter to get thru door. A foot high step to get into bathroom and a step ...

We enjoyed cruising on the Pride. Leaving from Baltimore is a plus. Only a 30 minute drive from home. Check in was a breeze, they had a good system that was quick. Slowed down to take a picture for memories. Boarded ship nlt 1pm and room was ready by 2pm. Met our stateroom steward, Tegum. He kept our room tidy and requests handled in a timely manner. This was our fifth time on the Pride. ...

Our cruise experience was doomed from the start. About a week before our cruise hurricane Dorian started forming. As our sale date approached we kept a close eye on the projected path and Carnival‘s website. As it became clear that hurricane Dorian was going to affect the Bahamas we regularly checked in to make sure that our sailing was still happening and we were going to be going to our ...

We chose Carnival because it was budget friendly! It was my husband, myself and our 2 year old and 6 other family members. Went onto the ship with such hesitation as everyone seemed to have terrible things to say about Carnival and I can tell you none of them were true. Our steward Yoga was incredibly kind and thorough. The entertainment staff Adele and Lee made us feel like family and always at ...

Never Again

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Ecstasy

Terrible. Crusty ship. Brown water from bathroom sink. Captain was terrible and kept Sailing up into the bottom of the hurricane causing us to have an unnecessary rough ride. He would find the roughest seas at night so that no one could sleep from the rocking. We were lied to from the get go. They should have canceled the cruise because of the hurricane but they are too money hungry. They kept ...
