Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Fiji Princess

This cruise is sensational, my partner and myself went on this cruise as part of our honeymoon to see a bit more of the real Fiji. We both could not fault it at any stage, we were lucky to have great weather bar one day where it was overcast but still warm enough to go for a swim! The snorkelling is fantastic, the crew are more than accommodating for those who are not as water confident as they ...

Amazing Experience

We have been on many cruises in the past 20 years, but this one was unlike any other. This is not your typical cruise ship, and we mean that in a very good way. The Fiji Princess is a 34 cabin ship that navigates the Yasawa Islands of Fiji, making one or two stops each day. The atmosphere on board in very casual and highly social. We spent most of the week in shorts and casual shirts. Shoes were ...

We thoroughly enjoyed everything and can't really understand a review written for the same month! Our cabin (on the lower deck) was small but with a comfortable large bed and ample cupboard space, and the little bathroom had everything one needed and everything functioned well. The crew was amazing, always smiling in typical Fijian style, and nothing too much trouble. The food was good, ample and ...

My husband and I had cruised with Blue Lagoon some years ago when it was a small friendly local company operating out of Latouka. Now the whole atmosphere is so different. They have lost the common touch and are only interested in making money. The crew are still friendly but it is obvious all work on auto pilot. The cabins are very small and only allow access to one side of the bed and the ...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful cruise. It was such a different cruise experience. We anchored out every night and never went near any ports. There was well supervised snorkeling once or twice daily on different reefs. The entire crew was the most friendly and happy I have ever experienced. It was all about smiles and music and a true Fijian experience. That was why we went and we ...

Very Fond Memories of a Wonderful Cruise

We just came home from a 7 day Blue Lagoon Cruise in Fiji. This was a wonderful way to spend a week in Fiji. We moved to a different island every day. Some were private islands and we never saw another group of tourists the entire week. The crew was too wonderful for words. The most friendly helpful people I have ever had the pleasure to know. And they knew everyone's name by the first day. The ...

We chose the Blue Lagoon cruise over staying on land because it offered visits to several islands and advertised many diverse activities. The guests on the cruise were from many different countries and we quickly became friends, which made the trip very enjoyable. The captain told us on the first evening at the captain's dinner that they were going to take care of us and indeed they did! Each ...

We have just completed the 7 day Yasawa Islands cruise on the Fiji Princess. We are completely hooked on small ship cruising. We sailed out of Port Denarau which is 15 minutes from Nadi airport. The cab cost us $25.00. Boarding was very simple and we were greeted on the gangway by the crew singing, "Bula, Bula", the Fijian welcome song. The ship only holds 65 passengers which makes for a very ...

This was our first Cruise, and we boarded with some trepidation. We needed not to have worried the Cruise was wonderful. Each day we would visit a deserted beach or village in the morning and then cruise to another beach or village for the afternoon. The food was never ending and delicious with Breakfast, Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea & then Dinner. We never lacked something to do if we ...

We had not been on an Ocean Cruise before and took this trip with some trepidation. The ship was what we expected and we were happy with our cabin. During the Cruise we stopped at either a beach or village every morning and again in the afternoon. We were never board and the activities were always well managed and arranged. One of the many highlights was snorkelling with the sharks on a reef, ...
