Excellent cruise from Rio to Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is upscale-casual: Few men wore sport jackets at any time. The ship has an elegant interior which is kept spotlessly clean. All passengers were greeted with a glass of champagne on embarkation which foreshadowed the great service for the whole cruise. We spent 18 nights aboard Pursuit from Cape Town to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The ship had a serious gastrointestinal infection aboard that was badly mishandled by Pursuit's crew. In the weeks since our disembarkation social media is reporting the gastrointestinal issues were related to South African bottled water, and after that water supply was replaced by Spanish water all returned to normal. ...
