Fabulous Value; Relaxing and Nice Experience for the Whole Family
"I'm not sure why A-rosa is bunked for Americans...in fact, I wondered why more English speaking cruisers weren't on board. The staff all spoke English as well as German (most of the crew were Eastern European) and..."Read More

Wonderful first-time river cruise on the Danube

Review for Donna to Europe - River Cruise

First Time Cruiser

Age 40s

We had a wonderful experience as a family on the Donna (7-day Danube round-trip from Passau). We chose an International sailing as we don't speak German, and found most of the staff spoke good English, and all the important announcements were made in both English and German. The cabin was small but the floor to ceiling windows on the Juliette balcony made the room seem larger. Nice touches like a table that ...

First Time Cruiser

Age 50s

This was our first river cruise and did not know what to expect, especially given the fact that I had never heard of Arosa cruises. However, the room (a suite) was bright, very clean, quiet, and spacious. The food was very good and we are picky. We were the only Americans on the boat, with the remainder of the passengers German. Every member of the crew spoke some English, but of course, some ...
