FIRST AND LAST CRUISE - FIJI & NEW CALEDONIA 2024

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Grand Princess

This was the worst travel experience of my life. It was our first time on a cruise and certainly the last with Grand Princess. This cruise is suitable for 60 year olds and above only. The cruise itself is extremely outdated! I wouldn’t even say it could pass as a family cruise. 1 of the 3 stops they made over the 2 weeks was an industrial area. We even did a tour and didn’t even see much at all. ...

Positives: (1) we were on board within a half hour of arrival to the the pier. (2) my dh and i won 2 trivia contests which had actual prizes-bottles of champagne (3) the princess app on the phone was easy to navigate. (4) dravuni, fiji cruise port is outstanding and saved this cruise from being a zero. Negatives: (1) no ac in our cabin for 3 days in the hot south pacific. Impossible to have a ...

The Worst Cruise I've been on and would not recommed

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

We sailed on the Queen Elizabeth over Xmas and New Year. Part of our package included transfers from the airport. This was the start of the issues. There was no communication about where to meet or who to meet once we get off our flight at Melbourne Airport. We were stuffed around with the transfers to the ship. Once onboard we headed straight to the kids' club with our six-year-old, to ensure ...

The worst Princess cruise ever

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

Post Covid we missed cruising after 30 plus cruises with a bit more than half with our preferred cruise company Princess. We did a short cruise in Queensland on the Coral in late June and making allowances for post-Covid adjustments the cruise was overall a good enjoyable experience. We also had credits from Covid cancellations to use. Now the Grand (far-from-grand) experience. Pre ...

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

If our taste buds could make memories, we will have to get some therapy because our one and only meal on board left a horrible taste in our mouth. Everywhere we looked for lunch was deep fried , frozen or just not great Chefs who specialise in food would not be involved in this display of un healthy food. Carnival you really have to change the photos of the food and the description you are ...

Pros: * Very organised to come on board the cruise * Cleaners kept the ship super clean, especially the toilets. * Cabin staff are so polite and very hard working at maintaining a high standard of cabins * Dessert buffet for New Years Eve was Beyond Amazing with all the ice sculptures. * Santa coming on the cruise ship and every child received a great present which we weren’t ...

Horrible overall experience despite a few good points

We booked this cruise through travel consultant in Sydney office as we are based in Thailand and it has been one of the worse traveling experience we ever had and the friend who has joined us on that cruise has blamed me nonstop for being on an "elderly floating home". This is just so wrong especially after spending so much money. Do not get me wrong, we have nothing against old people, but ...

FIRST AND LAST CRUISE

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Legend

User Avatar

I am glad this was only a 3 day sampler. I read dozens of reviews prior and decided people must be super fussy, that after all the cruise line info detailing how wonderful everything is, the reviews detailing how awful everyting is must be wrong, people must be too demanding. Staff were hurrying at 8.30pm to take food trays away, there was nothing available after that. We got a "PIZZA" ...
