Choose this 3 day cruise from Melbourne to Sydney in order to use our cruise credit from a cancelled 2020 cruise. We were very happy that Princess had extended the period in which to use the credit. We chose a Club class Mini Suite with the Princess Plus package.

After cruising Regent and Seabourn we were looking for a more casual experience coupled with an in-depth itinerary of New Zealand, and Azamara fit the bill. Itinerary included Melbourne,Tasmania and the North and South Islands in New Zealand. Did a 3 night cruise and loved it. Great ship, great entertainment, alcohol at pub prices, comedy club fantastic, cabin we booked an interior but got a free upgrade to balcony which was good. The crew, security and cleaning staff were all stellar. Melbourne folks are an absolute blast to party with. Carnival Liberty sells more alcohol than any other ship in the fleet largely due to the good folks from Melbourne's love for celebrating life to the fullest!

We are a family of 3. This was our 3rd cruise with Princess. Previously we cruised with Dawn to Brisbane and Sun to Melbourne, one way. Both the Dawn and the Sun catered to all types and we had a good time.

I now know why there are bad reviews for this ship on this and other sites , it's the passengers not the carnival spirit !!
Our embarkation in Melbourne was problem free and we were able to access our stateroom after a drink and walk around.
