Chose this cruise as it was a food cruise, didn’t realise when we booked that all the chefs dinners were going to be at large extra cost. Hence we didn’t do any as exchange rate Australian dollar to US $ is very poor. Have sailed on this boat prior to Covid and have no memories of anything to complain about. It seems they either can’t get staff or are just trying to save money. Took 20 minutes or ...

I chose this cruise to spend Christmas day in Milford Sound in New Zealand. It was to be the highlight and is a long held bucket list item, as well as an amazing opportunity for wildlife photography. I had an excursion booked for that purpose (several over the course of the cruise). Instead, they hadn't had the ship hull cleaned in order to pass the strict environmental standards of Customs NZ. ...

Husbands special birthday and cunard was always on his bucket list. First 5 days food was rubbish, dry and not as described on menu. The Lido was no better Bar prices out of this world. Buy a drinks package, coffees, soft drinks or alcohol, they don't tell you in the book that you have to buy one for every one in your cabin ! What to wear in dining room, non gala evenings. Book says ...

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary in Australia. But one of the excursions was cancelled and a disappointment, and the excursions were only okay. The Queen Elizabeth is absolutely for the older generation (ages 65 and older). I am age 53 and felt so young. There weren't any activities onboard that I was even remotely interested in and spent some time in my cabin sleeping and reading. ...

This was a short cruise for a fortieth birthday Melbourne-Kangaroo Island-Adelaide. We have cruised on QM2 previously and enjoyed it very much but this cruise was decidedly ordinary. I must say the ship is nice and the food is good quality but caters to a older crowd in taste and variety. We dined at Verandah twice and it was excellent, particularly the service, as this is where we met the ...

Two years ago, my friend and I arranged a 'cake decorating cruise' with Princess cruises which was successful in every way. (We held cake decorating demonstrations on board on the 'at sea' days) For these demonstrations, we were allocated a dining room and appointed times, in both the morning and afternoon, and it worked perfectly. We decided to arrange another and did so with Cunard ...

A Grand Lady but big isn`t always best. We tried hard to find the positives on this cruise as it was expensive and we had high expectations but these expectations were seldom met. WE boarded in Fremantle WA and disembarked in Sydney Service staff were good as was cabin steward. Entertainment staff have dropped the ball and seem to think that second best is good enough. Found staff in Mayfair ...
