Disappointing

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Grand Princess

Compared to previous Princess cruises, this was definitely a step down in service, food, entertainment. The ambiance of cruising was not there. No dress code for the MDR. Food service slow… MDR was akin to eating at the local diner. The staff did not make the experience ‘special’. Limited engagement with the waitstaff..more of a serve and get it over with vibe. Orders were sometimes ...

I’ve already done the survey that they send you but realised after I sent it that I hadn’t commented on the born to dance show that I went to see while I was on the cruise . It was absolutely spectacular, I still can’t believe how good it was . I’ve been to watch shows all over including west end and broadway and this was way up there with the best . The singers and dancers were fabulous . Food ...

My Retirement present to me

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Resilient Lady

I had heard great things about the new Ship and have always been an admirer of the amazing things that Richard Branson has achieved in his life. I read his books years ago and loved them, so it made complete sense to me to book a cruise with Virgin Voyages. The standout for me is the amazing crew, so happy ( a testament to having a great boss and working conditions) and helpful at all times. ...

We have been on many cruises and by far, this has Been our best experience. We cannot find any fault or need for improvement. From boarding the ship visiting ports and the onboard facilities it was smooth sailing. The friendly staff seemed to really enjoy their positions and very helpful at all times. The ship has exceeded all expectations. Excellent choice of restaurants, fitness and onboard ...

We wanted to experience something different on a cruise and the price was great and with all the hype of Virgin Voyages on TV we decided to try this cruise. First impressions of the ship as we boarded was a fresh ship and happy staff. Arriving to our room we found a spacious XL Sea Terrace room like no other that we have experienced on any other cruise ship in a good way, with a separate ...

It was our 30th wedding anniversary so wanted to do something special. So decided on our first visit to Australia and New Zealand. The ship and cabins are beautiful splash out and go as a rock star if you can. The staff truly seem to be the happiest friendliest crew we have ever sailed with. I would have given 5 stars but personally feel the food lets the ship down. The wake is beautiful but ...

We choose the cruise because of the Virgin name and reputation. We booked it and received a good deal, including a bar tab. There was a great variety of Restaurants and healthy eateries, we felt that we were not eating the same food over and over again. We enjoyed the shows, we didn't spend much time in the cabin with all the things to do. The gyms and exercise classes are great, ...

This was such a great experience, with like-minded people. The entertainment was great, food also. Casino had fun vibes. You can party with the people, or just enjoy a quite time in your room. Staff were attentive and well trained. Boarding went smoothly as well. It was genuinely a fabulous experience. Highly recommended. (Note price includes: Tips, Food, Essential Drinks, Wifi (very basic and ...

First cruise to test the sealegs. Will be hard to beat. Felt spoilt, plenty of space even on a full ship. Something for everyone - intovert to party animal. Be in the action, of find a quiet space to relax. Beautiful modern fitout. Food was high-end with the only flaw being you had to book and they did book out. Entertainment was amazing! Lots of drag, aerial, fringe-esque shows plus fun ...
