I do not recommend MSC when comparing to other big cruise lines

Just returned from a 7-night Mediterranean cruise (started from Marseille, FRANCE) - 2 adults/2 young kids Pros: - Ship is modern and well designed - Deluxe Balcony room was a positive surprise and we enjoyed the room a lot (size and shape) - Kids Waterpark was impressive. - Experience at seafood/fish specialty restaurant Ocean Cay was very good - Breakfast and lunch in main ...

Nice Ship, but Dreadful Cruise Company

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We booked a cruise through Avoya Travel on the "MSC Seaside", departing Marseille on June 3rd, 2022. On our arrival in Marseille on June 1st, Avoya Travel emailed me to inform us that our cruise had been cancelled! We had to decide within a few hours whether to accept a booking on another cruise, with a different itinerary on the "MSC Seaview", departing a day later, or take a full refund. We ...

Worst cruise of our 50+ cruises so far!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

We obviously enjoy cruising and expect high standards, this was the worst we've encountered. Positives: 1. Mostly great service apart from arrogant, poorly communicating Guest Services. 2. Really good premium beverage drinks. 3. Excellent Fusion speciality restaurant. Negatives: 1. Main dining room and buffet food was, overall, terrible. Bland, tasteless, poorly presented, ...

A fabulous ship with the wow factor

This brand new ship from MSC certainly has the WOW factor, the decor is stunning and the internal spaces are stylish and well thought out. Embarkation from Barcelona was a breeze, and the welcome on board was warm. We absolutely loved this ship, the cabin was spacious and clean with a lovely decor. Our cabin steward was efficient and friendly again brilliant service. The dining room was just great ...

This was our third and most likely last cruise on MSC. We have always booked a Yacht Club cabin for the better service, better dining and the exclusieve and tranquil pool area. Food We did enjoy the room service for breakfast, wich was always delivered on time and with everything we ordered. Coffee and hot chocolate was just ok. We always ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and we always ...

Amazing ship but lacks personality

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

The ship itself is beautifully designed, with amazing detail in the furnishings. Everything was clean and shiny. The staff that we encountered was helpful, in particular our cabin steward, Jason. The pool areas were never crowded, and it never felt as if there were 5000+ passengers sharing the ship with us. We traveled with my 10 year old daughter who loved the pools and the slides. The shows ...

Poor for vegetarians

It would help if food had s “v” label as very difficult to figure out what was veggie. Very Limited choice. Room service offered garden salad or fruit salad. Veggie main course at dinner was humous and pitta. Really Need to update menus..., this is the 21st century! Staff who dealt with excursions were very rude, serious lack of customer service. Ship generally looked good. But less ...

We whose this cruse because of the price...we wanted to se St. Martin, sainjuan and Bahamas...8 days cruse is perfect. Loved MSCSeaside, friendly staff, great food, deep pools specialty like the pool for adults only. The enbarkation was a smooth process I was surprised. Entertainment was excellant, Steve was so friendly and funny he should have his own comedy show. Love my experience in ...

This was our first time on MSC but we've been on multiple cruises with other cruise companies. We chose this ship and itinerary because there was a really good sale on their website. Booking was a little complicated because we were a large party so we had to email back and forth with the booking agent. We were a party of 9 adults and we booked 5 rooms, all inside cabins. We had read other ...

MSC Seaview 7nt Mediterranean Cruise

INTRO... Prior to my comprehensive review, i'd like to say that my intention is to produce a well rounded and honest opinion of the cruise line and the ship, not the itinerary or the destinations. I will be documenting our complete experience on this ship (in contrast to many of the poor quality reviews already published on this ship which seem to focus on silly individual things like vegan ...
