We were looking for a repositionig cruise to celebrate our retirement. We pre-ordered a bottle of champagne to be in our room for our departure but there was none. We finaly called the front desk by 7:00 pm and were told they would not be able to deliver it till tomorrow evening? It just set off the rest of the cruise .The Buffet was a repetion of the same thing every day .I think they used ...
This cruise took my wife and me to several ports in the Med, two Canary Islands, three Caribbean ports, Miami, and finally Cape Canaveral.
The ship is beautiful, really nice.
The experience was mediocre to terrible. The first leg from Rome to Barcelona (nine days) saw us going through the large 'cafeteria' deck looking for plates, glasses, and utensils for lunch. Scores of passengers were ...
How does this company gets away with it? From the minute you step onboard you are mobbed with staff members trying to sell/upsell you products, from dining packages to cheap and nasty wrist watches . The buffet food was always cold, poor quantity, miserable presentation, plastic plates , far too many people crowding around a very small area . The pizza was ( mostly cold) no better than a cheap ...
Nothing else then: horrible
Overcrowded places, too many people for only the few accomodations, fun pass for kids is casino to get your money, they don't put any limit on the fun pass, so after just being on the boat for a couple of hours they already went over the limit by 100€ but for the waterslides they need your signature... touristtraps all over!
The activities are overpriced, we only ...
The World Europa is a fancy new ship that offers a lot of attractions and amenities. It is truly a very impressive, new ship. There are also a lot of very positive experiences and some great staff members. However, there are also some unbelievable bad staff members that spoil all pleasure on board. What makes it worse is that MSC seems like it does not care about customers and their feedback. It ...
We obviously enjoy cruising and expect high standards, this was the worst we've encountered.
Positives:
1. Mostly great service apart from arrogant, poorly communicating Guest Services.
2. Really good premium beverage drinks.
3. Excellent Fusion speciality restaurant.
Negatives:
1. Main dining room and buffet food was, overall, terrible. Bland, tasteless, poorly presented, ...
Ok,
The staff are forced to hustle and relentlessly pitch the passengers, to benefit the ships profit, it's sad to see the pain in the worker's eyes.
There are mostly bad's and just a few goods about my experience on MSC.
BUFFET FOOD - horrible, they are cheap beyond imagination. If you like cheap fatty food like pizza, meatless pasta and hot dogs, MSC may be for you. They push the ...
This was my first cruise and it has put me off them. The attitude of the staff was disgusting and rude. The cruise was a rip of with alot of hidden extras and then when we complained about being charged extra we were told we were lying and they believed their staff. The kids club didn't have much entertainment or set activities and our children found it boring. We upgraded to the easy plus drink ...
Had a great first day here aboard the Grandiosa, leaving Marseille. The food, service, and all other accommodations are not the best I’ve had on a cruise, but they perform very well at the price point. But the wheels came off of this cruise fast this morning in Genoa, when I attempted to walk 25 minutes to the aquarium with my family, and was told that passengers are only allowed to leave the ship ...
I have to say that I am not a fan of short cruises during school holidays and my recent cruise on the MSC Fantasia confirmed this. Firstly I commend MSC for the cleanliness and the overall level of maintenance of this older ship. The crew – as on all cruises I have taken were welcoming, full of smiles and ready to go out of their way to satisfy cruisers. Being a round-robin Mediterranean trip ...
