Costa Serena Cruise Reviews for Romantic to Europe - Western Mediterranean from Marseille

We knew we would not be alone on this last minute decided vacations (8/11 to 8/18) on the Costa Serena and knew what to expect on a boat of this size when full of sheep's (sorry passengers). The cabins and cabin service was excellent except that my veranda had no lounge chair, two dirty patio chairs and was showered daily by coal soot from the chimney. The Food in formal restaurant was pretty mediocre, overcooked fish, undercooked pasta, blend chewy poultry, tastless tomatoes (For June in Italy) and horrible lettuce, although they tried for grandiose 6 course dinners.
