1-10 of 16 Southern Caribbean Mariner of the Seas Southern Caribbean Cruise Reviews
The staff were always kind and helpful. The ship was VERY clean and safe. My main complaint is that 85% of the seats in the English pub POKE YOU on both sides when you try to sit in them. I commented on this to fellow attendees and they all moaned about the discomfort of that pub's chairs. The obvious is "Don't sit there!" I know, but it was the location of the daily meet and greet for newcomers ...
My first ever Royal Caribbean cruise experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Traveling solo, I embarked on this adventure with high expectations, and the cruise surpassed them in several ways.
The standout feature of this RC cruise was the impeccable staff service. From the moment I stepped on board, they recognized my solo traveler status and went out of their way to ensure I felt ...
My family of 5, ages 53, 52, 24, 22, 22, chose this cruise because of the itinerary. This was our 10th cruise with Royal Caribbean and we never visited Curaçao or Aruba before.
Embarking/Departure:
This was the most disappointing part of the cruise, but it was not Royal Caribbean’s fault. Embarking was delayed about 45 minutes due to the Coast Guard’s yearly inspection. Departing was a ...
This cruise was way too crowded for comfort. The pool chairs we always full. There is no splash pad and no babies allowed in the pool. Not even a blow up pool on the deck unless you agree to carry it full of water to the bathroom and dump the water there. There were only 4 bathroom stalls for the main pool.
Our aft suite looked over a blue roof and horizontal multiple metal bars. There ...
While I am happy to have experienced Royal Caribbean again after two decades, I have come to the firm conclusion that this cruise line is not for me. In what seems like another lifetime, 20 years ago my parents took myself and siblings on the Splendor of the Seas the week following my college graduation. I have only fantastic memories of the ship, service, food and ports of call (San Juan, St. ...
I have been on the Mariner of the seas before, I loved the food decided to book again months later. The food both on the buffet and restaurant was all days the same, very disappointed, because in the past was not like that, the prices are high now, and the food is worst than COVID times, I dont understand why the change...
The cruise is clean and their island is really nice, did a good job ...
We chose this cruise for its length and itinerary. It was my 3rd time on the Mariner OS. This cruise was definitely the best of 4 since the restart. The ship was fully staffed and near capacity. The MoS is a great size, easy to navigate and is comfortable. The casino is a little small but always active, particularly in the evenings. Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire were all first time stops for us ...
Mariner of the Seas is a lovely ship. It was very clean and altho it could use some TLC in some areas there wasn't any one thing that was "horrible". The crew was great! There is a lot to do on the ship, the dining venues are plentiful.
Aruba- Took the free trolley to downtown. It is a nice ride to the downtown shopping area. Watch the time because the trolley stops running around 4p or so ...
Overall we had a great cruise. Staff always great on royal. We tried the ultimate dining package for the first time. We where one of the first to board and we went right to Jamie's to make bookings for the whole week. We where only able to get two reservations for dinner at chops and no lunches. So I feel sorry for people that didn't get on the ship early enough to get reservations. WE ate at ...
Mariner of the Sea was a beautiful ship. It was easy to get around on and the staff was friendly. We were not hounded for drinks or picture taking which was fantastic! The Promenade was great - we stopped by there daily for snacks (not much that I could eat - not gluten friendly!)
We were in an inside cabin and true to RCCL - not very roomy. Had to crawl in to the bed but we knew that when ...
