Beautiful and clean. No noisy neighbors, but of course that varies with each sailing. Our deck was right under the pool/solarium area and we did not hear any noise from it. The cabin was the first grand suite from the forward elevator bank. Some kids did find it amusing to keep ringing out doorbell all day, but we straightened that out with the room attendants and concierge. It didn't happen anymore after that. Read Less

Our cabin: we stayed in 1582 -- roughly midship on the port side. Deck 10. The room was perfect. The "double" pullout was, according to my picky 11-year-old, quite comfortable. Rather than a pullout with a wire support, the entire sofa folded flat and created something more along a queen-size bed. Our cabin attendant, Sumei, was spectacular. She met us in the cabin about 30 minutes after we arrived (still not sure how she knew we were in there) and spend about 10-15 minutes orienting us to the cabin, the ship and things to do ashore. Our room was always tidy, but the best part of Sumei is every time she saw us, she recalled all our names, our plans and was seemingly engaged in ensuring we had a great vacation. The bathroom was big with a tub. The tub may be problematic for people with mobility problems as the step over and into the tub (no stand-alone shower -- you've got to get in the tub to shower) is about 50% higher than in a typical US home. The cabin had TONS of storage -- no problems putting everything away and stowing our luggage -- with room to spare. The balcony was large and comfortable. The door is heavy -- my kids had a hard time getting it open and closed. In my mind, this isn't a bad thing if you have smaller children. Read Less

Our suite accommodations had several issues. The drawer in one of the dressers was broken and difficult to close, the deck really needed a good power washing, the chairs on the deck had stained and dirty cushions. The glass on the balcony was quite dirty and detracted from the overall view and enjoyment from the suite. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable as was the pull-out couch. The water pressure in the bathroom was wonderful. Read Less

Our suite ( 1578) was huge! King sized bed for us , and big sofa bed for our daughter - lovely sofa bed which could have accommodated 2 adults if needed. There was a curtain which we could close at night to separate off our sleeping areas which was also nice for some privacy. Huge cupboards for storage, and a bar area which we did not use. The bathroom was massive, with his and hers sinks, and shower over the bath. One thing I would say is that you need to step quite high over the bath rim in order to access the shower. If someone was elderly or with mobility issues, they may find this difficult. Our balcony was again massive, with 2 beautiful cushioned loungers you could lie on, and a table with 2 chairs. We found the grand suite to be very quiet and never heard any noise from above or from anywhere else. Our cabin attendant Ray was excellent too. Read Less

Positives:- Plenty of room- Nice sofa and chairs.- Playstation 3- 6 bottles of mineral water includedNegatives:- The bed could be more comfortable, rather hard, and needed three layers of foam mattresses to make it comfortable.- The bathtub is rather high, which makes it hard to get out or in of.- Furniture is showing signs of age, and bad repairs/DIY fixes, check drawers, closets doors etc (we had hinges and fittings for the closet doors not working as you would expect from a GS suite). We had to call for maintenance two times of this cruise to adjust the closet doors.- I would have expected a more attentive stateroom attendant. Read Less
