My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

Oceania disappoints on 8th cruise.

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Marina

I have just completed my eighth voyage with Oceania Cruises. The introduction at the beginning of the Cruise Document package wished me an “unforgettable cruise”. It was an “unforgettable cruise”, for all the wrong reasons. In fact for me it was a disappointment. I opted for this cruise against a variety of others available because it was going to Easter Island. As you must be aware by now ...

17 night cruise started in Papeete. Easter Island was on the itinerary for this 17 night voyage. It was the only reason I chose this particular cruise. We were due to have two days on the island. Having arrived on time the Captain decided that the swell of the sea was too great for disembarkation. After just a few hours he made the decision to sail away to Peru. I found this unbelievable. He ...

We had food and service issues from day 1. Chipped glassware, and a string or hair in my dessert, in the main dining room. Raw hamburgers at the grill for lunch, not once, but twice. Nothing was ever served hot, just warm, and the ice cream was always like mush. We met with the concierge, who was lovely, but wanted us to speak with the 2 food and beverage managers............2 bafoons, who could ...

We'd heard great things about the food on Oceania. Of course we'd also heard there was nothing to do on the ship(quite true). But let's get back to the selling point -- the food. Well maybe it would have been better if they hadn't gotten to the Noro Virus, or as they preferred to describe it, a gastro-intestional virus stiking more than 2% of the passengers. Because once they got the sickness ...

We have previously cruised with Princess 31 days. We have chosen cruising over land tours due to travel traveling between destinations is done while we eat, dance, and sleep. This time I chose Oceania because of a special they were running: free airfare, free unlimited Saint Petersburg excursions, free internet, free gratuities, $100 shipboard credit and more. The Saint Petersburg excursions were ...

Don't book with Oceania...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Marina

Don't book on Oceania: Unless you want to be "nickeled & dimed". Unless you are over 70 years old. Unless you are a married couple.... and don't, don't, don't book directly with Oceania (use a travel agent- that was you have an advocate and perks that you don't get with Oceania directly. Don't upgrade to the concierge level (it is a total waste of money). I booked this cruise a year in advance ...

So Oceania's Marina is beautiful and the crew and staff are the best., but that doesn't make up for the negatives. They advertise free air fare. Which is a chartered flight out if LAX on Tahiti Air. This flight is miserable. The plane is old, and there is no room. The personal entertainment systems don't work and then you are stuck as,there is no place to change where they might be working. Do ...

I sailed on the Oceania Marina on November 10, 2013. The first 5 days went very well. All of the ships employees met expectations. The food was very good and gourmet. The accommodations in a balcony room were spacious, luxurious and comfortable...... Then the bombshell. I became ill and had to see the M.D...or what passes for an M.D. I was in sick-bay for approx. 3 hours and had to receive I.V. ...

It all started on the wrong foot. On the morning of our starting flight, which had been arranged by Oceania, we found it was delayed. Panic set in about meeting our connecting flight and arriving at the embarkation dock on time. When we arrived in Southampton, we found a huge "Princess" ship where the Oceania was to be docked, according to our brochure supplied by Oceania. Nobody seemed to know ...

Nice Ship TERRIBLE Service

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

Having cruises with Oceania in the past we were really looking forward to cruising on the new ship. What a huge disappointment. We waited a year, to give them time to work out the kinks on the new ship. However, the kinks of a new ship were not the problem, poor customer service was the issue. And this was not a training issue, this was a top down attitude problem. The staff had such disdain ...
