My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary (we hadn't been to Morocco), which was cancelled before we left and replaced with Palma de Majorca (our 5th time there). We watched quite a few U-Tubes that seemed to indicate that Oceania was comparable to Viking (which is our favorite ocean line). Viking has one infuriating Con, which is, they demand FULL payment for a cruise one year to two ...

Oceania sinks to new lows

Currently on board Marina on second leg of two from Amsterdam to London-19 days. This is 4th cruise with Oceania and first post Covid. Very sad to report, in my opinion, the Oceania of the pass is no longer a float. We have experienced almost across the board changes in service, food quality and selection and poor attitudes. Transfers from the hotel in Amsterdam was simply chaotic to ...

A miserable Oceania Marina cruise

This was my 4th time cruising with Oceania, the 3rd one on Marina. It's a shame this cruise line deteriorated so far, it used to be my favorite. No complaints about the ship itself, it is beautiful, comfortable and not too large. However, since the last time I have been on it (2019, just before the pandemic hit) it went downhill all the way. The food is not the same, for example, the Polo ...

Horrible experience on Oceania Marina...nothing luxury about this cruise

We sailed on the Oceania Marina for the Mediterranean Splendors cruise, from Istanbul to Lisbon last month. We selected this cruise line as it was consistently identified in a short-list of luxury cruise lines, and it sailed to destinations we were interested in seeing. We have only been on one other cruise with Crystal Cruises, so our reference point is limited. However, after 12 days on ...

This was to be the cruise of a lifetime. A chance for my wife to visit some of the many places I had visited while on business travel. Titled by Oceania “Museums to Mosaics” We called it the “Cruise from Hell” along with some other long time (29 Oceania cruises) cruisers. Things stated going downhill at our second port – Halifax. It was very cold and started snowing as were leaving the ...

Very Disappointing - I would avoid cruising with Oceania

This was my first, and will be my only Oceania cruise. Overall, the cruise was very disappointing, especially considering how much money we paid. The good: - The rooms were spacious with lots of storage - The food was quite good, especially in the speciality restaurants The bad: - We paid for a conceirge room. Big mistake. The conceirge was horrible. When asked about short ...

Travel agent recommended and literature posted to our home looked good so we booked the cruise $26,000 AUD ....TOTAL RIP-OFF Food constantly served tepid and unappetising. Constantly returning food as not acceptable Bed mattress was burst and I had to sleep on the small double seater until they finally replaced it (approx 12-14 days) Argumentative security personnel, they issued new ...

Corporate changes having negative impact on Oceania cruises

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Marina

We have cruised with Oceania several times over the past several years and it is apparent that Oceania is in decline as an organization. We just competed two cruises on the Marina (Norway and British Isles), and though there are lots of good staff on the Marina, there seem to be corporate decisions that are having a strongly negative impact on the service we received lately. First, there were ...

My wife and I have cruised on over 10 different lines. This was a Special Anniversary Cruise. We spent Three days in London touring prior to Embarkation in South Hampton. Embarkation was a disaster. We had booked back to back cruises- Folklore and Fairytails - 19 days total cruise. All 136 people, 68 State Rooms whom booked the Folklore and Fairytails back to back, had the same experience. ...

This would have to be the most difficult review I have undertaken and I know many of you will find it hard to believe, that the following occurred on our first cruise with Oceania, on the fairytales and folklore Baltic cruise. As a past cruiser with Seabourn, Regent and Celebrity, I looked forward to experiencing Oceania on what was, a wonderful 19 day itinerary along the Baltic region. ...
