Marina in Key West, FL 12-2-21

Most shops closed, but what a joy to see children playing on the beach and enjoying sunshine.
For those in Penthouses and above you have complimentary access to the Spa Terrace. The loungers have been upgraded during the Oceania Next program
We always love to do a cooking class aboard Riviera or Marina. This one Viva Espana was excellent.

Mostly excellent with a few glitches

Positives: Beautiful, functional ship, and gorgeous suite. Outstanding dining options--6 restaurants to rotate among for dinner. Meals, with a couple notable exceptions, were excellent. Beautiful dining rooms, and very fine service from dining room staff, room stewards, butler. Wonderful guest lecturer gave 8 afternoon talks (mostly on days at sea) all related to our ports and destinations. A ...

Alumni group, canal transit, fairly good destinations. However, we purposefully left behind our personal computers and electrical outlet adaptors because the ADVERTISEMENT said 120 outlets and a personal computer would be provided, along with FREE internet. The actuality of the situation was that this boat was built in ITALY, and half the outlets were the standard Italian recessed oval double ...

Great Ship, Good Voyage; Terrible Customer Service from Oceania

We booked this cruise based on a recommendation from friends who had travelled the previous year. We successfully booked through our travel agent & then contacted Oceania Australia (OA) directly in regard to the La Reserve dinners & beverage package - this was when the problems started. We asked OA to make reservations for the La Reserve dinners. Even though the menus & cost of the dinners ...

Good But Not Over the Top as Before

Our 3rd cruise aboard Marina. A beautifully decorated ship. Our penthouse suite 10039 was nicely appointed with more than enough storage (including walk in closet), large bathroom, writing desk and vanity. Thankfully I had my plug adapters with me so I could use both the North American and European style plug outlets (I travel with dual voltage curling irons, computers etc). The cruise had a ...

Lovely Ship but Not All it is Cracked Up to Be

We have sailed with Oceania once before which was great, but it was 3 years ago and on Regatta before they were taken over by NCCL and what a difference. Marina is a beautiful ship, the cabins10062 was fine, bathroom excellent. Originally we were in cabin 9012 . On arrival the toilet was full of sewage which we flushed and didn't think too much about. However for the next four days we had sewage ...

Known for their Food? Tell me another.

We'd heard great things about the food on Oceania. Of course we'd also heard there was nothing to do on the ship(quite true). But let's get back to the selling point -- the food. Well maybe it would have been better if they hadn't gotten to the Noro Virus, or as they preferred to describe it, a gastro-intestional virus stiking more than 2% of the passengers. Because once they got the sickness ...

My wife and I sailed with the 1200 passenger Oceania Marina on their 16 day cruise from Lima, Peru to New York. We have typically traveled on smaller ships, including Sea Dream, Silversea and Seabourn, and I have to admit to having reservations about the ability of the ship to meet the service and food standards of ships half their size or less - especially since Oceania originally had only ...

Oceania Marina - not what we expected

Let me start by saying that we did enjoy our vacation. That said, we have cruised at least once a year for the past 22 years on several different lines. Because of the price point, we were definitely expecting a higher-end cruise experience. Unfortunately, several factors left us wondering why we spent the extra money for Oceania. Our cabin, a category B3, was nice, but no better than a Concierge ...

Oceania's inaugural cruise of the Marina

Overall the ship was new and attractive. The stewards, wait staff, and all crew members were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The food was really wonderful, in all outlets...from the specialty dining rooms to the main dining room to the casual deck breakfast and lunch spots. The Pastry chef is a genius!! The ship did make a lot of noise, especially at the back end of the Grand Dining ...

First off - it is a beautiful boat - the public areas are gorgeous - as usual the cabin staff and wait staff are exceptional. The food is amazing, - even though we are not foodies. The four special restaurants are top class - we enjoyed the main dining room which is a lovely room - big and light and airy. We enjoyed the dining in the terrace - especially outside. The waitstaff there are so ...
