This is our 6th cruise with Oceania and 2nd time on the Marina and loved every moment. Embarkation in Southampton was efficient and we were quickly onboard. Our Concierge room was immaculate and as in past cruises the cabin staff were excellent and always greeted us by name. There has been discussion on some boards about the decline in Oceania food however, our personal experience was that we ...
We chose the cruise for its itinerary. We wanted to got to French Polynesia and had never cruised across the South Pacific with such exotic locations as the Pitcarin Islands and Easter Island. The flight over allowed us to visit one daughter & family in California out the way over and ended in New York where a second daughter lives. A bonus was a scheduled stop in Norfolk with even more ...
This was our 4th cruise with Oceania so we are obviously biased. Although we have sailed on a few other ocean cruise lines and river cruise lines, we keep coming back to Oceania. The food is Fantastic, the service superb and the atmosphere is very warm, casual and comfortable. It feels like a home away from home. We just completed an 18 day voyage (our longest cruise yet) and we wished we could ...
There are now so many awful cruise reviews that despite not usually writing a review I am forced to do so to redress the balance Having read the reviews of Marina over time I believe that some people only go on a cruise so that they can complain about it afterwards whereas my only complaint for the trip as a whole is that it would have been much better had a number of ignorant, rude and ...
My husband and I chose this 25 day cruise because we wanted to try a high-end cruise. Loved it. Oceania is the perfect line for us because there are no rules, no photographers, no up-selling of terrible art, no gala events. Dining: you can sit where you want and eat when you want. The staff were fun-loving, over-the-top competent, sophisticated and professional. Our cabin was elegant. ...
We chose our cruise because of the itinerary (French Polynesia & Hawaii) and were a little apprehensive due to the smaller ship. We were very happy with both. Planning to go again real soon. The staff especially the team of Joseph & Gidek (sic) our room attendants worked above and beyond to insure everything was perfect. We’ve been on a few other cruise lines and found Oceania a cut above the ...
We love Oceania for its amazing service and outstanding food quality and variety. We've been sailing on Oceania for the past 15 years and just got off the Marina yesterday. This was an unusual itinerary since it had so many sea days (which we both love). We boarded the ship in Papette, visited 4 ports in French Polynesia and then sailed to Hawaii and visited 4 island ports there. We sailed 5 ...
Wonderful ship, crew and the food was outstanding! Really is best cuisine at sea.
All four of their specialty restaurants treat you like you're their only patron. I wish more cruise ships would do as Oceania does and cut out the self-service at the buffet. I love that we are served and we all are not handling the servicing utensils. I know this helps with germ control.
Wonderful Easter ...
I and my wife and 9 other friends took a cruise aboard the Oceania Marina around the Bay of Biscay. The ship’s itinerary started in Amsterdam, then to Dover in England, then Honfleur in France, then down the west coast of France, then the north coast of Spain, ending in Lisbon.
This route is not often offered by the cruise lines, but turned out to be quite good and enjoyable. We learnt ...
We always wanted to cruise on Oceania but never really wanted to pay the higher price. My husband is always looking for deals so when he came across this cruise and figured out everything that would be included this turned out to be a wonderful deal. Because this was our 1st Oceania cruise we decided to do everything through them (airline and transfers) once we arrived at the airport an Oceania ...
