My husband wanted to see the Caribbean so we booked this cruise. The staff and food onboard were amazing. The excursions were ok. Entertainment was lacking. There was very little to do onboard after 10:00 unless you wanted to sit in the bar.
Tried all for speciality restaurants and the food was amazing. The service was a little slow but it gave us time to get to know our table mates.

This was our first Oceania cruise. We have been cruising for 30 years, mostly Carnival (with kids) and Princess. For our 30th anniversary and retirement celebrations we decided to upgrade. Overall, the experience was worth the upgrade. The ship is beautiful, attention to details often overlooked on a budget cruise was impressive, and the food was fantastic.

My husband and I took a western Mediterranean cruise on Marina that started in Rome and ended in Barcelona. We absolutely loved it! First of all, the food was outstanding! We ate once at each of the specialty restaurants and enjoyed them all. I love that they're all included with our cruise. I think our 2 favorites were Red Ginger and Jacques, but Polo Grill and Toscana were also delicious. The ...
We chose this trip mainly for the Israel focus and spent three days there. The excursions are always expensive and in Israel the guides were useless, which was frustrating. Also there were no port talks; odd; though most people now have to book before they get on board. Booking was sometimes complicated pre-cruise.
The ship is a size we like 1200 pax and it has all the usual stuff. We like ...
We picked the cruise for the itinerary. We were able to get Greece, Israel, and Turkey on one trip with the bonus of starting in Barcelona. We were originally booked into standard balcony class on deck eight. We were offered a modestly priced upgrade to concierge class on deck ten and decided to try it.
We spent three days in Barcelona (our second time there). The highlight was a food and wine ...
My father-in-law decided to take the entire family on a cruise. This consisted of him and his wife, my brother-in-law, his wife, and their baby (who was about 1.5 years old), and my husband and myself. We opted for a cruise from Lisbon to Barcelona. Although I've only been on a couple of cruises prior, both my husband and his father have been on considerable more. This was, however, the first ...
We are an active couple in our early 50s. We have been cruising for 30 years and have been on most of the lines. Lately we've been on a big Royal ship, 2 small Celebrity ships, the Virgin ship and we did a Baltic cruise in August on Celebrity Apex.
We went with 4 other couples all in their early 50s.
Embarkation was easy. In this particular port (Lisbon) you get on the ship by climbing ...
After having 4-5 good cruises on RCL, my wife and we're looking for a "step above" cruise and had heard nothing but glowing praise about Oceania cruises.
The ship (Marina) was lovely. For the most part, the food and service were impeccable. Our cabin (B1 class, 282 square ft with veranda) was very nice.
HIGHS:. Cabin service, free room service and free laundry service. Pool & spa. ...
This was our 8th cruise with Oceania and our first after the pandemic. Some have mentioned that the ship decor is dated, which I agree with, however, I heard they are renovating the ship in a few months. The restaurants were great as usual - my favorite was Jacques. The spa was wonderful and the cooking class was a lot of fun.
While there are still many things to love about Oceania - the ...
We initially selected this cruise back in 2019, based on the itinerary especially calling into St Petersburg for 2 nights, but of course this was cancelled.
The ports were varied from great ( Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki,Talinn) to average(Riga, Gdansk, due to the excursion, an hour on the bus and very limiting time and a lot of guide talk) to not so good at all- Aarhus and Kotka. Visby was ...
