We chose this cruise to try a different experience having mainly sailed with celebrity cruises . Also it appeared we had a good deal. However we had a partial view balcony on deck 16. Directly above us was the pool deck. Can you imagine the noise of deck chairs being scraped across the floor at all hours. we booked a city trip in marseille for our first tour. What an absolute rip off. We got on ...

I started planning that vacation 5 months before it left port. The first time I heard that we could not get off the ship unless we had MSC excursions planned was at dinner the first night. I literally have been on the MSC website almost daily for MONTHS and did not hear of such a rule. I planned an excursion for every port on our vacation and had to cancel (which we lost a massive amount of money ...

Is MSC the worst cruise line?

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seashore

I don't know whether it's the worst but it sure is among the ones I travelled on.To me good and imaginative food is important and the food on MSC is pathetic. In the buffet pasta and pizza everywhere. No ethnic food, no smoked salmon or pates, no decent selection of cheese. Its more like a factory canteen .The cherry on the cake is treating ice cream as if its an expensive delicacy and non existing ...

We are an American family of four with two kids 18 and 16. We have cruised many times before but not on MSC and not in Europe. We had a great cruise! The food, service and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We had a duplex suite which had plenty of room and great views. We made the most of th drink package and the bartenders and waiters were great. We really enjoyed the food at ...

We travelled on more than 60 cruises on Silversea, Celebrity, Cunard Grill Class, HAL, Viking, RCCL, Crystal, Seabourn, Hapag Lloyd, Oceania and Regent. We wanted to try the MSC Yachtclub. Well first we arrived in Marseille cruiseterminal 10:00 AM, so way to early but the butler at checkin said "no Problem" and brought us on board to the beautiful Topsail Lounge dedicated for Yachtclub only. Our ...

Great time on the ship! Yacht Club

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Seaview

I need to preference the review by saying this is for the Yacht Club. I can't speak to other cabins or dinning. Firstly, Yacht Club is the only way I'd do this ship. The service is insanely good. We existed the cab in Barcelona and before I could determine where I needed to be, someone from MSC spotted my yacht club tag and escorted us immediately to a private area with drinks and food ...
