Enjoyable cruising, let down by awful food.

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

We chose to cruise with MSC because the route (Valletta, Santorini, Mykonos, Civitavecchia, and Syracuse) was very appealing to us. And each port was absolutely stunning and offers a great deal of variety and character to please everybody. Boarding the MSC Divina at Valletta was very easy and well managed. I can only assume they left these members of staff in Malta because from that point on ...

Ship was overcrowded queues everywhere

The ship is nice and room was lovely, however we had problems with the shower, every time we used the shower the bathroom flooded which apart from being a hazard it was an inconvenience. The ship was full and there were queues everywhere especially at the buffet, pools were always crowded, most of the staff were not helpful maybe because of the overload of work due to many people being on board. ...

This was my third cruise so I was pretty exciting to go on a ship once again with my family for a holiday! I was a bit worried after reading these interviews but it didn't ruin my excitement! So let's begin piece by piece Embarkation; Both with NCL and costa the embarkation/check in took ages but with MSC it took only 15mins!!! As we gave our tickets, passports and deposit we went out of ...

I am going to compare this cruise to our RCCL cruise which we took out of venice last year. Our holiday started on a very good note...... we were upgraded from outside to balcony cabin Category 8. I was hesitant at first, since I have 2 young kids and thought this might be dangerous, but I had no problems, and it was very well worth it! We had paid Eur990 per adult and Eur120 per child for ...

For those of you who don't know already, we were lucky enough to win a ticket to an MSC Splendida cruise departing from our charming island, Malta. It was short notice so my partner and I were forced to check what dates we could take leave from work. We settled on 11th to 18th April. It was my 3rd cruise but my partner's and our 2 ½ year old daughter's first cruise. Embarkation We were told ...

This was my first cruise. I was really looking forward for this as other members of my family, including my wife had gone on cruises previously and were really happy with them from all aspects. However, I must say that I ended up as disappointed with this cruise as much as I was looking forward for it before! First of all, before going any further in my review, I have to tell you that the main ...

We cruised on MSC Splendida the week 4th to 11th August. I am going to be as objective as possible so as to help those of you who are undecided whether to book with MSC or not. In a nutshell, although it was a good holiday overall and we had a pleasant time and the ship is beautiful, we would not again sail with MSC. There are various reasons for this. Please bear in mind that what is not good for ...

The Splendida Experience

The reason I have decided to write this review is that I had read so many contrasting opinions on MSC that we had become very wary indeed . In fact we approached our cruise with apprehension. Our experience in cruising is four cruises on the Norwegian Gem. We sailed on the Splendida in the Med in November. Our first impression of the ship was that the statement " the most beautiful ...
