A great cruise but could of been better

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

We have recently returned from a 10 night cruise on Regent Seven Seas Navigator (450 pax). We are a Brit/Dutch couple aged 53/60 and have sailed with various other cruise lines, several times, but this was our first time on Regent. Last year, we tried Oceania Marina for the first time and wanted to compare the two as they are sister companies. We’ve had a great cruise but we still (currently) ...

We had a wonderful 15 night Oceania cruise from Valletta to Istanbul

This September we took the 15 night In-Depth Adriatic & Aegean cruise Oceania cruise from Valletta Malta to Istanbul. We had the standard oceanview cabin on the Nautica. The cabin was very nice and the bed was absolutely heavenly. There was some noise due to being right across from the door the crew used to get to their own cabins but no noise from above or either side. We had plenty of ...

HIGH LEVEL EXPERIENCE BUT BAD RECEPTION AND EXCURSIONS

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Le Bougainville

My experience on the Ponant La Boungaville cruise from Malta to Nice was, for the most part, a mix of positive emotions and some disappointments. Let me start by highlighting the best aspects of this journey: The standout of the cruise was undoubtedly the presence of Andrea, the cruise director. From the moment I stepped onto the ship, Andrea proved to be an exceptional host. Not only did he ...

Viking was well organized and ship was stunning. Loved the Thermal Suite--try everything! Push all the buttons including the one in the snow room!! Happy and cordial staff everywhere. Our balcony penthouse(not a penthouse) was perfect with tons of storage. Easy covid testing everyday. Unique vessel sinks to wash your hands just inside the dining venues. The average age on our cruise we ...

Great Small Ship Experience - Third Time with Star Clippers.

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Star Flyer

We chose a repositioning itinerary that took us from Malta to Malaga, stopping in Sardinia, the Balearics, and along the Spanish Coast. Previous cruises had set our expectations. Star Clipper is a small line with three small ships that use sail frequently. Frequent stops in European ports insured that the food stocks were excellent. As a repositioning cruise, the opportunities for water ...

First Time with Oceania

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Sirena

We are seasoned cruisers having been on many lines including Azamara, HAL but mainly Celebrity. We wanted to try Oceania and this cruise seemed as good a place as any to start. On embarkation, which was a breeze, we realised that the ship is identical to the Azamara Journey. Nicely decorated and our cabin (outside 4th deck) was spacious and had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. ...

This would be our fifth time we have sailed with Oceania, our other four cruises have been on Riviera, but we wanted to try the old “R” ship. We knew before we sailed what the ship would be like in relation to the configuration as we have also sailed with Azamara. We flew from Manchester to Malta to join the ship and had booked transfers thorough Malta Transfers, the taxi driver was waiting ...

Still an excellent cruise line but a few cracks appearing

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

I booked a guaranteed G suite 90 days out on the April Rome to Venice cruise in spite of the adverse comments on cruise critic. I guessed the refit in early April would solve all the comments on the décor though not perhaps the vibration issues. I have previously avoided this ship as she is a bit old and not purposely made for cruising but now she is in the Med I had little choice as we are off ...
