Whilst the crew were attentive some had only very limited English. The ship was immaculately clean and our cabin steward was lovely but the ice bucket ordered for 6pm each evening more often than not failed to arrive on time if at all.
The food for the first 2/3 days was tepid and we regularly sent back cold coffee.
There was no information given about ports of call other than to suggest ...
We chose to cruise with MSC because the route (Valletta, Santorini, Mykonos, Civitavecchia, and Syracuse) was very appealing to us. And each port was absolutely stunning and offers a great deal of variety and character to please everybody.
Boarding the MSC Divina at Valletta was very easy and well managed. I can only assume they left these members of staff in Malta because from that point on ...
Organised a friends get together for a weeks cruise around the Greek Islands sailing from Malta. Arrival to Malta went well, embarkation went smoothly. Had an extended stay due to late arriving passengers (not their fault). Valletta is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. One couple in the group were given their cabin keys only to find an officer in their bed who had been working the night ...
This was our first time on P&O, having done many cruises with RC and Celebrity. We were disappointed pretty early on, to be honest.
The ship in parts is very nice and modern but in other areas it's very dated and even chlostrophobic. Weird fake grass up on deck which looks cheap and when wet, stays wet for a long time. Pools too small.
Cabin very dated - for a ship still relatively new I ...
So this is our 19th cruise and the 4th on p&o. 1st time on Azura and sadly it will be our last!
The entertainment and ship wide facilities are good. Nice layout, good pools, plenty of loungers.
So the best bits 5* for entertainment. The theatre is well equipped with amazing light and sound and the shows are excellent. Great dancing and some excellent vocals from the male lead singers and ...
Chose this 7-day cruise because of the destinations en route. The "buffet" leaves a lot to be desired - poor choice of dishes, terrible organisation in terms of getting people through, inadequate tea and coffee stations which always lacked simple things like teaspoons, the food was consistently cold and/or dry.
One of the main irritations was the captain. Multiple times a day he would make ...
We were excited for our cruise, it was going to 9 destinations and 8 we had never been to before. We are not new to cruising so knew what to expect on a well detailed and organised cruise.
The Ship is fine in itself, if a little tired in places. The Captain was brilliant, he was from Derbyshire and made every announcement funny, but informative.
Catering needs some serious work, and I mean ...
I have cruised with P&O before., but never on the Azura.
We arrived late due to our charter flight delay. The dining rooms were closed. The buffet restaurant was only partially open so the queues were long and tiring with a limited choice. Not the best introduction to Azura.
I felt the ship was tired and lacked sparkle. Service was mediocre. Entertainment bland and quite amateurish at some ...
Due to family connections Malta is a regular destination for us. So a cruise around the med sailing from Malta meant we could combine 2 trips together. The boarding process was well organised and straight forward. The Azura is an older P &O ship and is showing signs of age. The cabin was clean and tidy and staff very helpful. We were in a forward cabin and the allocated restaurant was at the very ...
Azura would not be our first choice we prefer the tried and traditional cruise. But with flights from our local Airport and an attractive on board credit we gave it a go. The prospect of getting down to Southampton is a little daunting these days.
So opted for a 14 day Fly Cruise from Malta around the Med Taking in Greece Turkey Italy Corsica
Flight by TUI was Ok just the bare bones these ...
