We really enjoyed the week cruise , food in meridian and peninsular restaurants was very good , only fault I had was desert apple crumble was terrible in the main very tasty, but the buffet on deck 15 was poor for getting seated and half of the buffet atea on a evening is barriered off to create a beach club restaurant where you could pay extra for table service and better standard i assume of ...

This is the 4th time on Azura, having been on the ship in her Maiden year to the Baltics 2010 ,Med 2012 and the Fjords 2017 and I am pleased to say she has still plenty of life left in her yet though obviously not new. I had read so many negative reviews about her after I had booked this one, that I tried to cancel it but couldnt without a large financial loss. Who writes these reviews ? this ...

Food abysmal, worse than school dinners, packet made sweets, completely tasteless, some kind of dreadful synthetic cream, leathery bought in pancakes and inedible maple syrup, they couldn't even make toast, cheap thin sliced bread which disintegrated into crumbs as soon as you tried to butter it. I've never been on a cruise and not eaten the puddings- just dire. Cabin very dated, poor quality ...

A very enjoyable cruise

Having read many negative reviews about P&O and Azura I was wondering if I had made a mistake booking a two week trip to the Med from Malta. I’m happy to say that I had a great cruise and enjoyed my time on Azura. I don’t want swirly slides and bumper cars or adult only booze cruises. Therefore P&O cover the middle ground and most of the bases for a relaxing cruise visiting a good variety of ...

Never again

Was supposed to go to Mykonos, Souda Bay (Crete), Athens and Santorini. Bad parts: 1. Mykonos stay got replaced with Heraklion (Crete). 2. Me and my partner both got a sickness and diarrhoea bug and spent the last 3 days locked in a cabin having been told to isolate. We had no calls from the nurse to check on us, just a form to fill out which was left on the outside of our door. Once ...

Blackpool on a boat with a side of food poisoning

Me and my fiancé are explorers at heart, so we thought a cruise would be a perfect way of seeing different places. We live for holidays, it’s what we spend all our hard earned money on. From cheap city break weekends right up to the Maldives. If I could go back in time I would!! It was dire! There was a reason we thought what a bargain at just £2000 in total. 1. It was like Blackpool on a ...

This was my first cruise and first solo holiday so was unsure what to expect, i was extremely happy with every aspect of the holiday the food was beautiful, I went on excursion at every port again these were really well organised and some wonderful guides. My biggest fear was dining alone again this fear was soon over come due to attending one of the solo meetings there I met 7 other solo ...

First time cruise certainly won't be our last. From the friendly helpful staff to the organised trips it was excellent. Wasn't sure what to expect but it exceeded our expectations. Some of the entertainment wasn't the best. The choice of food was fantastic from the buffet to the restaurant. Would highly recommend freedom dining as its more flexible.Celebration night wasn't for us as if you ...

Con’s There was never any sun beds by the pool p&o state they will remove towels from people reserving them but this never happened in the whole two weeks that we were onboard. Porn star martini & Prosecco only half filled. Green water in hot tubs Smell of raw sewage around the deck. ...

Disappointing Azura.

After three wonderful holidays on Iona, Arvia and Britannia we were really looking forward to our cruise on the Azura. We expected to see the signs of a badly needed refit so that didn’t bother us. However the ship doesn’t compare the the other ships. The entertainment was very poor. Pulse are usually a highlight for us but this time we found them just average. The theatre productions were ...
