Sun cruise from Malaga

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Norwegian Sun

Our cruise began and ended in Malaga in March 23. We went to Cadiz, Lisbon, Madeira, the Canary Islands and Gibraltar. The weather started off wet but it got very hot in Madeira. There were passengers joining the cruise at every port and disembarking too. The ports were all lovely except Gran Canaria and Tenerife. Just big towns. We had an inside cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and ...

very poor (virtually none) entertainment, no communication from NCL regarding change of Port itinerary to Malaga Embarking passengers on the 14th, from Cadiz, to Gibraltar, on the 1st day, Long queues, at the desks i.e destination, credit desk, and guest services. Cancelling Destination trips, leaving very little options available to book, after boarding. The policy seams to have change from ...

Sun was Super. Not now.

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Norwegian Sun

This was our second cruise on Norwegian Sun and third with NCL. Like every business in the world they are trying to recover from covid losses but cuts have gone too far! Our cruise diary rates previous NCL entertainment as fabulous; it isn't now. Having the same (albeit fantastically good) violinist for 6 nights out of 10 as the main theatre act lacked imagination. The other 2 major shows lacked ...

The entertainment was not up to the standard of previous NCL cruises.

The itinerary was great, the embarkation was fast and stress-free, cabins were clean and specious, food and food service was better than before, but the entertainment, especially the number of activities, was not up to the standard of previous NCL cruises. There were days without any shows in the Sturdust theater. While Mate is great and had wonderful performances both solo and with his ...

My previously booked NCL cruise out of Portugal was cancelled and I was hoping to replace it with similar cruise in the same time block and saw this low-priced alternative but it was a big mistake. Terrible communication, never told me what was needed or even tickets, unable to reach MSC by phone or login in on website. Never told me port of Casablanca cancelled or that could not leave ship at ...

Having sailed once before in the Caribbean with Star Flyer we decided on taking it across the Atlantic. The 23 day crossing was a combination of Malaga, Spain to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (9 days) and Las Palmas to Barbados (14 days). Due to popularity it was over a year from booking to sailing. Cabin 121. 80% of passengers are repeat. We arrived in Malaga 4 days before the cruise, ...

Smooth Sailing Over the Atlantic

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

I wanted to do a Transatlantic and the price was really good on this one. I don't usually sail on Royal, but I couldn't say no to this cruise. The ship itself was wonderful and the crew was fantastic! The only real downfall in my estimation was the dining. What I really enjoyed was the friendliness of the staff from the room stewards to the Captain. They worked very hard to keep us happy and ...

The ship was super clean, the crew were very friendly and the food was great. My husband wanted to go on a Transatlantic since he previously worked on a cruise ship. We went with 2 other couples. Weather was warm and calm. Overall a great first cruise! The camel ride and tour of the Volcanic National Park on Lanzarote was a definite highlight of the shore excursions. We stopped at 3 ...
