I found a great deal online and want to try the cruise so I booked this one. I’m from Bangkok and live in the States for a year so this is the chance! The food, really awesome. Almost everything was super delicious! Love them so much, especially Seafood!!!!!! I got the excursion at Atlantis, it was amazing! All the slides and water rides. So much fun! Another excursion is stingray cay, love the sting rays! We learnt about sting rays and gotta touch them gently, feed them as well! The water was so clear, a bit cold but it’s okay. It’s not deep as well about 4-5 ft. Lifejacket for kids are provided plus snorkeling gear, would be better to bring your own too in my opinion. They did not fit me. Lastly, I love Champaign, Wine, Activities, Foods, and the Services/Activities here so much. I dont want to leave the ship!! Can’t wait to be back!! Read Less

I was looking for something quick and easy to end my summer and the 4 night Bahamas on RCCL Majesty was perfect. I went solo with a stack of books to read and although I didn't get to all of it I was completely satisfied. I'm a frequent cruiser on RCCL so perhaps I'm a little biased but the ships, staff, and overall experience make me look at RCCL first when planning a cruise and they always seem to top my list. It was my first time to Coco Cay and the amenities and variety of things to do were great. Having been to Nassau many times I stayed aboard the ship and it was relaxing and satisfying. being solo I didn't go to the dining room but ate at the buffet daily. There was a good variety everyday. I try to watch what I eat and it was very easy to follow my usual healthy eating plan on board. Being a smaller ship the fitness facility was very limited in size but there was daily yoga, stretch classes, cycling, and an adequate amount of equipment. Overall it was an excellent experience. Majasty may be an oldie but definetly a goodie. This was my second time on Majesty of the Seas. She is a great ship with lots to offer for a short weekend cruise. I am well traveled. Been on many cruises on Carnival,Celebrity,Norwegian and Royal. Royal Caribbean has always been my favortie crusie line. THE SHIP The ship itself is 20 years old and she may look old on the outside, she's pretty well kept on the inside. Plenty of venues to hangout and grab a drink. My favorite spot on every RC ship in the Schooner Bar. Paul our Bar tender was amazing. Always remembred our drinks, We always went to him. There aren't many dining venues on Majesty compared to other ships. Just the Windjammer and the MDR. There's also a Comapss Deli which has pretty good Soups and Sandwichs. Theres a Johnny Rockets which is not my favorite, and Sorrentos which is good for a late night pizza run. OUR ROOM We had a superior ocean room on deck. Our cabin was perfect. Great size compaired to other cabins on this ship. Last time I was on the ship I had a Junior Suite which isn't really worth the extra money. Balconies don't even look down on the water thats why I just stayed with the SO cabin this time. COCO CAY I love Coco Cay. One of my favorite private ports next to Labadee. Great day to just lay on the beach and relax. NASSAU I've been to Nassau several times so I really don't do any tours. There's a restaurant called "The Poop Deck" near atlantis that me and my friends goto. I would highly recommend getting some lunch here. The Lobster tail in amazing and the conch fritters are good too. Majesty was a great cruise. I prefer her over Carnival or NCL. We're already booked to go on this cruise again next year. Same cabin. Hopefully we'll have the same experience. I've never had a bad cruise with Royal Caribbean and I hope to never have one. Read Less

Pre-cruise: My partner and I live in southern California and we thought the idea of a short Bahamas vacation sounded like a good idea for some much needed rest and relaxation. We flew direct from LAX to MIA the day before our cruise. The flight was quick and before we knew it we were in beautiful and warm Miami. We stayed overnight at the Hilton Downtown using frequent flyer points. The Hilton was ok, the hotel and rooms looked a little dated but the staff was friendly. Dinner that night was in South Beach at the Royal restaurant in the Raleigh Hotel. I loved this restaurant! The food was outstanding, the service top notch and the setting was beautiful outside by the hotel's iconic pool. Embarkation: After having breakfast at our hotel we took a taxi to the Port of Miami. We arrived at about 11:30 a.m., checked in and we were on the ship in less than fifteen minutes. The whole process was very well organized and pleasant. The Ship: We love the Majesty of the Seas! For a ship of her age she is a beauty. Royal Caribbean has done an outstanding job keeping her in tiptop shape. Majesty's new pool deck is great as are all her public spaces. Our favorite place on board was the Schooner Bar. Our cruise was booked solid but the ship never felt crowded to us.Our Stateroom: For the first time we booked a Jr. Suite and we enjoyed having all the extra space, the tub and most importantly the balcony. Our room was always very clean and everything worked as expected including the super cool air-conditioning, which I really loved. Staff: The crew on Majesty is one of the most friendly and helpful we have encountered on our cruises. Everyone from our room attendant to our waiters did everything they could to make us feel welcome and well cared for. Ports: Our day on Coco Cay was one of the best beach days ever. The weather was perfect and the water was warm. When we arrived on the island we walked to the far side of the beach. Away from all the crowds we relaxed in the sun and in the crystal blue waters all afternoon. The next day in Nassau we shopped downtown in the morning and relaxed on the Colonial Hilton's private beach in the afternoon. The town was very crowded due to the fact that there were five ships in port. We were happy that we purchased day passes at the Hilton so that we could use their pool and relax on the private beach.Disembarkation: The final morning we got up and had breakfast in the Windjammer. After breakfast we headed to Boleros to wait for our tags to be called. We had a late afternoon flight home so we were in no rush. I was very impressed that there were drinks and snacks available for passengers as they waited to disembark.Post-cruise: After walking off the ship about 10 a.m. we claimed our bags, hopped in a cab and were at the airport in no time. Our afternoon flight home was uneventful and we arrived home in the evening both rested and relaxed.Final Thoughts: We like cruising with Royal Caribbean very much and look forward to our next cruise. Thanks to everyone of the Majesty of the Seas for making our brief Bahamas vacation fun, restful and relaxing! Read Less
