This was my husband and I first time cruising. We had heard so many great things about cruising, so we decided to give it a try. .....Oh my!!...where to start... First...this is an old ship...carpets are stained...linen in the rooms were a dingy yellow. The towels always looked liked they had not been washed well. (yellow stains, red marks, old makeup looking marks on towels and washcloths..and this was even after asking for new ones) Second...our room attendant never knew what he was talking about when asked a questions...for example...i asked him if there was a way to print out our excursion tickets, since we had forgot to do so before leaving home and he said "no"...wrong!! they have computers set up with printers! Third...we could not port at CocoCay and was not offered any cruise deals or ship credits or anything...I'm convinced Coco Cay is messed up from Hurricane Matthew! Fourth...The waters were very rough on the 3rd and 4th night...as I am accustomed to flying..the pilot will come on the intercom and let everyone know we are experiencing turbulence"...well not on the ship!!..I didn't know if this was normal or if something was wrong...I was waiting for the captain to come over the loud speaker at any moment and let us know that we were experiencing rough waters or something!! Nothing!! For a first timer this was very unnerving! Fifth- we paid for the internet service that promised to be fast....welllllllll....fail....we were told it's slow in the rooms but fast if you come out to the common areas! -: I could go on...like the very smoky casino! But I've said enough and had enough to know we won't be doing another cruise anytime soon if at all....it is what we thought it was!! Read Less

Where do I start? Once on the ship and walking to cabin you could smell a fierce smell of sewage, rather unpleasant. The ship was ok looking overall, a bit outdated and in need of some remodeling. Very small cabins. The staff however was wonderful, attentive and friendly. There was not much as far as activities for adults. I was very tempted to go hang out at the teen club, they seemed to have all the fun and cool stuff there. there is two pools but in same area and well might as well be one. The hot tub not so very hot. Always loud music playing. Wish they had at least one pool area that was more quiet. Food!!! OMG IT was god awful The buffet was just bad.... then when we went to sit down eating thinking it would be better well it was not. We even paid extra hoping to get a good meal and were again left super disappointed, over-salted steak and over cooked lobster. The last day they did make a good garlic shrimp but that was the only!! and I mean only good thing the entire time we were there. The only good meal we got other then the garlic shrimp was off the ship at atlantis. I didnt even mind paying the extra 100 for my family to finally get some good food. Spa, well not as clean as you would imagine a spa. the massage therapist clearly does not know how to properly drape a person,I asked for a swedish and i have bruises on my leg from where she went to deep. She also would do something on one side and not the other and just go over boney landmarks. I couldnt wait for that 75 minutes to be over! Worst massage of my life! Dont waste your time or money! You will be disapointed. Read Less

This cruise wasn't all bad, so I'll write about the good and the bad. Good: very clean. wonderful, friendly staff. Food was good. Bad: 1st full day, went to Nassau. You have to pay to get to a beach. We did a beach excursion. The beach was beautiful, we waited for an announcement for lunch, along with others and there wasn't one. We finally figured it out by ourselves. Got back to the ship to shower to explore Nassua after. Except for bars, everything closed around 5. Nobody told us, I didn't get to see Nassau. Day 2. Cococay was beautiful also. If it wasn't for my social brother in law wondering around, we would not have eaten because nobody told us they were serving a lunch. Day 3. Fuel leak. Can't dock at Key West. So we continued to float in the ocean and pollute a different area. $35 per person credit. Packed pool, waisted alot of time in our rooms. Day 4. Back to Miami. They refueled before we left the boat and another cruise was leaving that day!!!! Really???? 8 people, $10,000 layer and pure disappointment. Read Less

This was our first cruise, and we booked well in advance with Royal Caribbean. We were traveling with our one year old, and paid for her as well, and were assured we would have a crib/pack-n-play in our room. However, it was not there when we arrived. We continued to inquire throughout the afternoon, and finally after the ship had sailed and multiple trips to the guest services desk we were informed that they didn't have enough cribs on the boat and we would not have one the first night. Consequently, our child had to sleep on the floor on some sheets. The guest services manager offered us a very small compensation which did not begin to compensate us for the fact that we had paid full fare for our dauther and expected a bed for her, we worried all evening, had to spend time at guest relations, and miss most of dinner to deal with this. We were also disappointed that small children are not allowed in the pool. Swimming is one of the few activities we were looking forward to with our daughter. Instead we had to leave the ship and pay an expensive fee at a hotel in Nassau in order to be able to swim. The food was okay but not great. The ship is starting to show its age despite having been renovated. Overall, I am not inclined to take a cruise again, but if I did it would be on one of the newer ships with larger cabins that offer balconies. Read Less
